miHoYo confirmed its presence at Gamescom with titles like Honkai: Star Rail but also took the stage at Gamescom Opening Night Live to showcase Zenless Zone Zero. Announced last year, the latest trailer revealed new details and locations in New Eridu. Check it out below.
Some of the new locations include Street Exit, Brant Street Construction Suite and Ballet Twins Road. There’s also a Favorability system, which seems to be based on characters to hang out with. Arcade titles (which may be mini-games) and Assists, likely for combat, are also showcased to the tune of sleek music. Overall, the gameplay still looks solid.
Zenless Zone Zero still looks compelling, but a release date is still unconfirmed. The urban fantasy action RPG is coming to PC, iOS and Android, and there have been several closed beta tests thus far. Stay tuned for more details and announcements, especially as Gamescom Opening Night Live rolls on.

We got a glimpse of Zenless Zone Zero during Gamescom Opening Night Live, but the trailer maybe wasn’t the best introduction to the title for those unfamiliar with the release. This gameplay showcase does a much better job of showing off the title, demonstrating its life-sim style lobby where you can play arcade games and manage a VHS store through to its character action combat.
