This month, the “Darkness Unleashed” Update arrives in Arkesia, and with it the Thaemine Legion Raid, new Transcendence progression system, Veskal Guardian Raid, and so much more!

2024 is only a few months in, but for Amazon Games, it’s been full steam ahead for the organization’s many teams. Some of the highlights include Lost Ark celebrating its second anniversary and New World’s welcome to the Year of the Dragon. Add to that, the business explored the impact of the people behind the games, from spotlighting the teams working on game creation and publishing in its new ‘Meet the Makers’ shorts series, to raising awareness for the many talented game makers with Black Voices in Gaming, to examining the impact of player communities on game development, and much more.

Heroes of Arkesia, in this month’s Lost Ark update, the Breaker Advanced Class bursts on the scene, along with new progression events, a new series of Story Quests, and other exciting content, events, and skins.

Lost Ark’s “Break Through to Thaemine” update will go live tomorrow, bringing the Breaker advanced class, a new horizontal progression catch-up mechanic, new story quests, and events.

This month, Lost Ark turns 2. To celebrate, the Team is unveiling the “2 Extreme” Update which includes Valtan Extreme and several special anniversary events.

The Team that helped bring Lost Ark to the West looks back at two years of adventures in Arkesia.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the now-confirmed name of the adventure game in the works at Wolfenstein studio MachineGames under the watchful eye of Bethesda and executive producer Todd Howard, is set between the plots of the first and third films. 

With the arrival of the New Year a new Lost Ark monthly update has arrived. The January Update includes the Inferno mode of Brelshaza, the new Lai Lai Adventure Island, and a slew of quality of life and balance updates, along with additional new content.

Brelshaza Inferno is almost here in Lost Ark , with tomorrow’s patch bringing that hardest version of the Legion Raid, new base build updates, a new Adventure Island, and more.

Lost Ark ended the year with two major updates in December, and the team has announced initial details and the release date for the January update.

Lost Ark is getting the second of its two big December updates tomorrow, with the Ivory Tower patch. The new Ivory Tower of Chaos Abyssal Dungeon arrives, along with the new Elixir system, some winter specials, and more.

 As the year draws to a close, it’s time for 2024 roadmaps. The latest to release one is Lost Ark, with part 1 of the new roadmap updating us all on what to expect through sometime in the spring. Expect more of the big battles, harder and more challenging raid content, new character classes, the second anniversary, and much more.

While everyone else is sipping eggnog and watching old Christmas movies for the millionth time (and no, Die Hard isn’t a Christmas movie!), gamers around the world will be logging into their favorite MMO to slay all sorts of beasts and collect fantastic rewards. While some developers remain on the naughty list for another year, some of our favorite MMOs made the nice list by adding tons of new quests, challenges, and presents. 

Greetings heroes of Arkesia! In the spirit of giving, this month the Lost Ark team is releasing content across two updates, on December 13 and December 20. On December 13 get ready for Voldis, the Gargareth Guardian Raid, a new seasonal event, Proving Grounds Season 4, and more. Seven days later, after a week of exploring Voldis, look forward to the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon and the introduction of the Elixir system.

 Lost Ark’s December update is so big that the team willrelease it in two parts. On December 13th, we’ll get “Voldis Wonderland” with the new continent of Voldis. On December 20th, the Endgame Update is finally arriving, with new challenges and the introduction of Elixirs.

Details on the pace of balance changes and base build updates for Lost Ark is the subject of a new devblog detailing how Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games work on the Western build. The post focuses on base build updates and why the pace of updates is sometimes slowed down. 

After six years in development, Lost Ark Mobile was proudly showcased at G-STAR 2023 by Smilegate RPG, marking a significant milestone for the mobile iteration of the globally renowned PC MMORPG Lost Ark. Following the successful launch of Lost Ark on PC, the team at Smilegate has been working diligently, but keeping much of Lost Ark Mobile under wraps, until G-Star where they’ve given players a series of hands-on encounters to enjoy.

This week, the Souleater arrives in Arkesia along with progression events to help players quickly level up. On November 15, heroes finally meet the Master of Specters, the Soul Eater, an Assassin subclass who wields a giant scythe to attack her enemies and collect their souls.

The latest update to the massive MMORPG, Lost Ark, is finally upon us. This was laid out during Amazon Game Studios’ road map a couple months ago, arguably being the most anticipated even more so than the Akkan tier. The reason of course is that the Assassin class is getting a new character to their roster in the form of Souleater, a fast paced, flashy vixen. Amazon Game Studios has released the full patch notes for the newest update, and it comes with a couple surprises:

Tomorrow, Lost Ark gets its November update, “Soul Harvest”, which brings the Souleater advanced class for the Assassin, new and returning progression events, quality of life updates, and a new quest.

On November 15th, Lost Ark gets its latest new class, the Souleater, arriving to offer a new Assassin subclass for those who want to wield a giant scythe, collect enemies’ souls, and even summon the dead.

The Lost Ark team is spotlighting monster creation with a new deep dive with the team on how Akkan, Plague Legion Commander, from rotting flesh to musical cues.

With today’s update, Lost Ark’s promised Chaos Gate revamp is here. The new format merges Chaos Gates, Ghost Ships, and Treasure Maps, and will test challengers with waves of demons and a few bosses to defeat.

Lost Ark is getting into the spooky spirit with its new October update, Monster Bash.

Tomorrow,Lost Ark readies the Monster Bash, with the October update. Prepare for a new continent to explore and take on new quests, the Calliligos Trial Guardian Raid, events, and of course, Halloween goodies and fun.

Lost Ark has been out in the West for some time now, and with the most recent updates the team has launched new Jump Start servers, among other updates to the MMOARPG. Alongside the Western updates, the Korean version of Lost Ark received its Thaemine raid, with players rushing for a world-first completion back in September. Lost Ark feels primed to have a great fall, heralded by those Jump Start servers.

Lost Ark’ s October update is right around the corner, and the team is sharing some details on what to prepare for if you want to be ready to jump into the new features when the update arrives.

Beyond the complexities and nuances of its Guardian Raids, Legion Raids, and other such endgame activities, the Amazon Games MMO is filled with ways to celebrate in style and look great while doing it. So with the spookiest month of the year now underway, it should come as no surprise to find plenty of Halloween-themed specialties in the Lost Ark October update.

For the new player in Lost Ark, choosing a class can be daunting for many different reasons that can be specific to the player. Some players want the class fantasy, but it either may not be available or said fantasy may not be “good”. Some players want a class that fits their playstyle, but again, the fear of said playstyle not being good enough for PvE is a real concern.

Smilegate RPG and Amazon have a new letter to the Lost Ark community announcing special thank you gifts, a change to the timeline forJump-Start servers, and a look ahead to content coming in October.

The Lost Ark team has details on today’s brand new Ark Pass and has recently introduced some guides to the new Jump-Start servers, starting with Super Mokoko Express.

Through its great and not-so-great times, ups and downs, and numerous iterations, Lost Ark has always hallmarked itself through its raids, and for good reason. They look fantastic, are always chock full of mechanics, and are constantly testing the limits of even the most seasoned players. Most of us really got our grips through seeing videos such as «How difficult is raiding in Lost Ark?» , and many of us got to experience these prolific raids first hand.

The big September update for Lost Ark is here, bringing the Jump-Start fast progression servers, new Primal Island dinosaur battle royale, and feature tweaks. The team has also announced the login rewards and helpful items you can expect on the new server, as well as new Twitch Drops for the month.

The Lost Ark team is excited to announce that the game’s September update, titled “Jump to the Endgame,” is now live! As the title suggests, the focus of this update is a new feature that will allow players to jump ahead to the endgame content. And this new feature is called Jump-Start servers.

Lost Ark is getting its next update tomorrow, September 13th, and with it comes new events, a new Ark Pass, and Jump Start servers.

Lost Ark has had a problem attracting new players for the last year or so. The problem has mainly been that the experience has been too vertical, meaning that it takes an incredible amount of effort to make it to the end game. Amazon Game Studios has been making a good effort in its catchup systems with pushing certain systems faster with more rewards and cheaper components, but this patch is without doubt the biggest attempt to attract new players.

 Lost Ark , fresh off a region merger in Europe, has shared a peek at next week’s September update. On the way are several new raids and features, in addition to fast-progression servers and features intended to make Lost Ark easier to jump into for the first time or to return.

Lost Ark’s move to a single European server region is coming on August 30th, and the team has details on how it will all work.

Today marks one of the biggest updates to Lost Ark in 18 months. The long awaited August patch is the finale to the summer roadmap, and it is one heck of an update that hopefully brings back and attracts more players. Obviously the biggest two additions will be the new raid tier and the Aeromancer Specialist class, but there’s a lot of quality of life and adjustments that will make the game better in the long run.

 Lost Ark ’s August update, Wield the Storm, is coming tomorrow, with the Aeromancer advanced class, new Legion and Guardian raids, some progression events and several major reworks.

Lost Ark is one of the most popular MMORPGs around, and Smilegate continues to regularly release monthly updates for it. In the final major outlook of the year, Amazon Game Studios has detailed its roadmap for September, October, November and December, showing off some rather exciting additions and changes. They are even adding additional content in the August update next week which will do a lot for players who login every day. These include some surprises such as dailies being reduced to us getting the recently released (in Korea) Souleater class surprisingly soon.

With the summer updates in full swing, and the August update arriving in just a few days, the Lost Ark team and has now released its roadmap update for the rest of the year.
