The V29.10 update dropped on March 26, adding a whole host of vehicles for players to build. It's called the Mechanical Mayhem patch, which also addresses some of the more persistent bugs that've been present since launch. Expect to unlock new vehicle parts which can be used to get around in style. The new Hauler can be used to move resources across large distances too, making it extremely useful for setting up new camps.

We suggest getting a Lumber Mill built and then working on crafting a sword. Once you have this, you can kill skeletons to get bones, build a grill for cooking, and then start putting down some storage chests to organize your spoils.

Everything in the game is procedurally generated for each world you create and it’s even built in Unreal Engine 5 using Chaos physics and destruction to break LEGO bricks apart just like in real life.

Lego Fortnite is big on authenticity. During my recent preview session, the game's developers repeatedly noted how they recreated 10,000 authentic Lego bricks in digital form, using those bricks to then create creatures and characters that are - again - authentic to the guidelines for actual Lego sets. It's effectively impossible for me to judge how well Lego Fortnite can fulfill its ambitions as the 30-minute demo I got ahead of the game's official release offered nowhere near enough time to really poke at its systems, but I came away thrilled by its potential.

The highly anticipated LEGO Fortnite has received its first gameplay trailer alongside its launch today, December 7.

What if Minecraft, but plastic? And in Fortnite? Gaming is weird nowadays, isn't it?

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard about Fortnite . I mean, who hasn’t? Epic Games’ pop media juggernaut has done quite a bit over the last six years. Anyone who plays (I play way too much with my family) knew there would be new goodies in Chapter 5, but being a full-functioning Survival MMO wasn’t on my bingo sheet.
