With all the unique LEGO Fortnite creations, are we really surprised that one player already discovered how to create a catapult?
From a monorail to a boat, you can almost create anything in this survival mode. But in this case, we’ve now witnessed a working catapult.
Posted in a video on Reddit, the user “Acceptable-Team662” demonstrated how their catapult/trebuchet creation works. Currently, there’s no tutorial on how to make one for yourself, but they said they’re working on one.
The video showcases how the player placed an item into the catapult, then activated the Thrusters which allowed it to swing upwards. The catapult stopped once it was vertical, and the object inside got thrown into the distance. They even built a makeshift castle in the background to make it feel like a real battle scene.

While this doesn’t seem to have much practical use in the game, it’s quite impressive to look at. I’m no physics expert, so I don’t personally play around with creations like this. But many players like to tinker around in this mode to create incredible builds.
The replies to this post seem to be eager for a tutorial. One Reddit user said to launch yourself in the catapult to see what happens. Another person suggested they add some Thrusters for counterweight to increase the speed.
Although they created this in Sandbox mode, I believe it wouldn’t be too difficult to make in Survival. It’d take a lot more time and effort, but if you want to create a medieval weapon like this, just wait patiently for a tutorial.
For now, you should try out other creations like a working LEGO Fortnite car. If you’re having trouble getting around in your world, this is an easy creation to try out.

One of the biggest strengths of Lego is that you're only limited to your imagination. You're given a bunch of blocks and told to make whatever you like, and the same can mostly be said for Lego Fortnite, the free-to-play Minecraft-style mode recently added to Fortnite. While players are managing to make airships and recreate Star Destroyers, there's one big problem players are running into that's stopping them from unleashing their true creativity.
In LEGO Fortnite, Rollers are the scourge of the Grasslands. They’ll surprise you by jumping from the earth and will keep rolling after you. Thankfully, they tend to pop up one at a time. One unfortunate player, however, stumbled across an army of them.
Finally, you’re not stuck with stacking items only up to 30! In the latest LEGO Fortnite update, players can now stack certain items up to 50.
Lego Fortnite, just like the colorful blocks the game mode is based on, rewards creativity and has a fanbase that is very willing to use their creativity to the fullest. We've already seen players create some truly astonishing villages and castle, with one person having created a steerable airship just a few days after launch.
Somehow, LEGO Fortnite players have discovered how to build a teleporter creation that replicates fast travel. I have no idea how they did it, but it happened.
The grind is on as Lego Fortnite rolls into view and throws a back of assorted bricks at your feet. Combining the colourful world of Fortnite with the boundless creativity of Lego is a work of genius, and even in its most basic form, is a lot of fun. If you want a new crafting/survival game, then this isn’t a bad place to start.
