A LEGO Fortnite player has created a massive Mesa village with lighting that makes it stand out regardless of the time of day. Despite how new it is, LEGO Fortnite already provides players with many things to create, but this Mesa village may be among the best bases in the game.
LEGO Fortnite and the rhythm-based Fortnite Festival were released around the same time. Both of these game modes added to an already feature-rich Fortnite which had Creative mode, Battle Royale, and Save the World. With LEGO already having millions of fans ahead of its addition to Fortnite, many gamers flocked to the new game mode. Reddit user Haskyns recently shared a video highlighting their LEGO Fortnite Mesa village. The clip begins with their character flying around the base, showing off rows of lanterns, multiple pre-designed buildings, and a giant peace sign of lights. The buildings are placed on foundations of cross-sections of what appears to be LEGO Fortnite wood. The player shows these buildings, a kitchen area near a central campfire, and arches from the day and night perspective. The Reddit user also showcases the bottom of the Mesa village, which highlights how high up they were able to build, with most of the buildings surrounding one of the mountains.
While most of the Mesa village has a color scheme that helps it blend into the nearby mountains, its yellow lighting helps it stand out. These lights are primarily strung along arches that are placed between structures, and the buildings are illuminated at night as well. Though much of the base is composed of designs that can be selected from the menu, the peace sign and furnished living quarters are clear examples of a custom touch from Haskyns. There's also a log cabin with a green roof, and the larger buildings have red doors that are noticeable from afar. The gamer reached the LEGO Fortnite build limit with their Mesa village, which may hint at just how many building materials were required to create it.
Although many players create bases in theLEGO Fortnite woodland area, this Mesa village spotlights the potential of other biomes. Given that Epic Games has teased additions to LEGO Fortnite, there may be even more biomes and building designs dropped in a future patch.
