A Palworld player clips an epic battle moment showing their Jetragon and a Necromus passing an attack back and forth. There have been a lot of impressive Palworld battles since the game was released, but this may be among the most memorable moments so far.
After a brief intro, Palworld players begin their journeys in the Windswept Hills without any materials or gear. As gamers progress through the game, they unlock helpful items and structures to create strong bases that can withstand the raids of wild Pals. While these Pals can be captured to work around the base on different Palworld tasks or breed with other Pals, they are also useful for battling the stronger Pals scattered around the open world. From the beginning, players will see high-level Pals in the open world, like Mammorest, Jormuntide, and Necromus. One player caught an epic anime-style battle between the powerful Necromus and their Jetragon in an incredible video.
Reddit user TheJefeSam recently shared a clip of their level 50 Jetragon battling a level 50 Necromus in the Desert biome of their Palworld world. The video begins with the Jetragon hitting the Necromus with an attack that does 91 damage to reduce the enemy's health down to nearly half. The Necromus then shoots a beam at the allied Jetragon that does hundreds of points of damage but still barely phases the airborne Pal. Through this combat, the player simply runs around the battlefield and the Jetragon consumes Red Berries. After firing a barrage at Necromus, the Jetragon builds energy for a fireball that is countered by the Necromus in a rare moment of unlikely timing that results in an anime-like scene.
The wild Necromus rears up to unleash an attack on Jetragon just before the allied Pal shoots the fireball. The game seems to register the momentum of the Necromus offense, and it's applied to the fireball attack, sending it flying back to Jetragon. The Jetragon still takes damage from the Necromus ability but is still able to counter the deflected fireball back in the original direction. Despite moving back and forth between the Pals, this fireball still does minimal damage to Necromus once it finally explodes, and Palworld's Jetragon closes the distance between the two for some melee attacks. The clip concludes with Necromus stomping the ground, which knocks back Jetragon a short distance.
Although the video concludes before the battle is complete, Palworld's Necromus has significantly less health than the Jetragon. Given that some of Jetragon's attacks were effective against the Necromus, the player was likely successful in defeating or capturing the level 50 Pal.
