A new Monster Hunter Wilds leak indicates that the game will be released in the first quarter of 2025 and that it will be the first fully open-world entry in the franchise. The Monster Hunter franchise has grown in popularity recently, and Monster Hunter Wilds seems to be an ambitious attempt to take the series to the next level.

A creative Pokemon fan has come up with a creative concept of armor for a Monster Hunter character, based off of the popular Pokemon Metagross. The fan-made armor set, which cleverly utilizes many of the distinguishable body components that make up Metagross, seems to be grabbing the attention of quite a few Pokemon and Monster Hunter fans alike.

Beginning today, players can hop into and wear some of their favorite gear to celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary.

Capcom’s latest collaboration forStreet Fighter 6, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Monster Hunter, is now available. It offers a Rathalos Armor outfit for the player avatar, emotes and titles, alongside 15 accessories based on well-known weapons. Check out the trailer below, showcasing all of the new items.

An insider has said that recent «leaks» regarding Monster Hunter Wilds were fake. The leaks claimed that Monster Hunter Wilds would release in Q1 2025, among other things.

Capcom will release Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin for PlayStation 4 digitally on June 14, day and date with the remastered version of Monster Hunter Stories, the company announced. Both games will also be available as a special digital set. Pre-orders will be available soon and include Ena’s “Kamura Maiden” outfit.

Monster Hunter fans should mark March 12 on their calendars, as Capcom has just announced a «special program» commemorating the series' 20th anniversary on that date. Although the event is confirmed not to include any new game announcements, it may yet prove a treat for Monster Hunter fans.

Capcom will host the Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Special Program on March 12 at 4:00 a.m. PT / 7:00 a.m. ET / 20:00 JST, the company announced. You will be able to watch it on YouTube (English, Japanese).
