2024 is only a few months in, but for Amazon Games, it’s been full steam ahead for the organization’s many teams. Some of the highlights include Lost Ark celebrating its second anniversary and New World’s welcome to the Year of the Dragon. Add to that, the business explored the impact of the people behind the games, from spotlighting the teams working on game creation and publishing in its new ‘Meet the Makers’ shorts series, to raising awareness for the many talented game makers with Black Voices in Gaming, to examining the impact of player communities on game development, and much more.

Fallout 76 for PC and Xbox consoles is now free to grab for Prime Gaming subscribers, who have until May 15 to permanently add the game to their libraries. Do note that the PC version is a Microsoft Store code.

Fallout games are having a moment in the wake of glowing reviews for the new TV series adaptation on Prime Video. Amazon has added two of the series’ best games as freebies for Prime members on Luna, its cloud streaming service. Fallout 4 is also getting some love, as Bethesda said it will drop the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S update for the 2015 game on April 25.

GOG, the gaming storefront owned by CD Projekt, is getting into cloud gaming by teaming up with Amazon Luna. Since the Luna cloud service streams games from Amazon's cloud servers, you'll be able to access the titles you've purchased from the store across any compatible device you own, including PCs, Macs, Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as smart TVs and Fire tablets. That is, so long as those devices are installed with the Luna app and you're connected to the internet. You'll also be able to use any Luna-compatible devices and controllers, such as Xbox One's and PS4's, to play your games.

Due to legal issues, no iPhone version of Fortnite is available. You don't have to abandon your buddies on the battle bus for another game, though, because there are a few workarounds to get you playing Fortnite on your iPhone.

Ubisoft's newly launched Skull and Bones is not faring well on the review aggregate site Metacritic, where it has received overwhelmingly negative ratings from gamers. Prior to its full release, game testers had already complained about the game.

NASA has spotted a small new crater on the Moon that was likely caused by a Russian probe crash landing on the surface around two weeks ago.

An "abnormal situation" occurred at Russia's Luna-25 spacecraft on Saturday as it was preparing to transfer to its pre-landing orbit, Russia's national space agency Roskosmos said.

India's Chandrayaan- 3 spacecraft has moved closer to the Moon's surface and it has reduced the orbit by 174 km x 1437 km, ISRO revealed. Now, it will conduct another major manoeuvre on August 14, which will take the spacecraft even closer to the moon. Along with India's Moon mission, Russia is now set to launch its Lunar mission. This will happen tomorrow, August 11, and it will be the country's first attempt after 45 years. Experts believe that both may well have similar landing days.
