Fallout 76 for PC and Xbox consoles is now free to grab for Prime Gaming subscribers, who have until May 15 to permanently add the game to their libraries. Do note that the PC version is a Microsoft Store code.
This is, of course, part of a wider promotion in conjunction with the release of the Fallout TV show on Amazon Prime Video. Prime Gaming subscribers can also grab a GOG code for Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, a tactical RPG released in 2001. Additionally, Prime users can play Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition at no additional cost via Amazon Luna's cloud, provided that Luna supports their country.

The TV series adaptation clearly did wonders for Bethesda's post-apocalyptic franchise in terms of active players, just like with The Witcher. Fallout 4 has just peaked at 75K concurrent players on Steam, which puts it at the #22 spot in the 24-hour chart. For its part, Fallout 76 also saw a huge boost on Steam, where the game is currently playable for free for another four days and is currently enjoying an 80% discount. It just reached 32.3K concurrent players, which is near the all-time peak registered by the game when it first launched on Steam four years ago. Since April 11, New Vegas also tripled its peak player count on Steam. All three of these games appear in the global chart of best-sellers, too.

ATMOS effectively builds a 4th layer of distance and direction-based audio. This is done by filling the worldspace with corresponding room or object sound emitters.
ATMOS also improves the other 3 layers of audio and provides the following miscellaneous features.

Earlier this week, the studio announced that Fallout 76 surpassed one million daily players across all platforms for the first time since its launch in late 2018. The multiplayer game is one of the top sellers on Steam (and elsewhere), largely thanks to various promotions and offers that have, however, since ended. On Valve's PC platform, the game reached 73.3K concurrent players last Sunday.
