Square Enix announced via the official Twitter account for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis that a PC release for the mobile action RPG is set for December 7.

Square Enix has confirmed Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis for PC with a Steam release date.

Though the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy is obviously Square Enix’s flagship Final Fantasy 7-related project right now, it’s not the only one, with Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis – a free-to-play reimagination of the PS1 classic and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 – also having been receiving its fair share of attention. The RPG launched for mobile devices in September, and Square Enix confirmed not long afterward that it would also be coming to PC soon.

With all-time classic titles like Final Fantasy 7, I often don’t think about this. Instead, I’m so swept up in the story, music, and gameplay that I forget about the cash I spent. It’s only when games like Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis come along that I remember that the eternal wheel of capitalism lurks behind even my most precious gaming memories.
