Some areas where the game can be confusing have to do with bugs present at its launch, like the armor issue that has rendered heavy armor significantly less useful than intended. Though some guns may be marginally better than others, every weapon has its strengths and is viable for any mission. As players fight tooth and nail to reclaim planets overrun by Terminids and Automatons, developer Arrowhead reveals that the intergalactic war is managed by only a single person. While the core loop involves running around alien planets and gunning down various enemies, there's a much larger scale meta-game at play that sees the community fighting to take control of several endangered planets. Given that opposing factions seemingly respond to player-led pushes, many assumed it was simply an automatic difficulty setting to make the experience more challenging.

Arrowhead Game Studios CEO, Johan Pilestedt, confirms that the studio is looking into potentially adding a color change customization feature for the various armor sets available in Helldivers 2. It's been a series of high and lows for the development team at Arrowhead Game Studios, as Helldivers 2 became an absolutely massive hit with both critics and fans after the game's launch. However, the rapid growth resulted in major problems including crashes, server instability, and login issues which have plagued the overall experience for many.

Playing is going to get much easier with a new update added by Arrowhead Game Studios. The third-person shooter has been a success since its release earlier in February, mostly due to its cooperative, challenging, and occasionally chaotic multiplayer. Given the game’s popularity, however, there have been some issues and errors with , especially when it comes to logging in and waiting in line. The major problems concerning those, however, are starting to be addressed, which should make players’ access to the title a whole lot easier.

After some pretty hefty wait times and server issues, Helldivers 2 CEO Johan Pilestedt finally confirms that concurrent player counts have been increased.

Helldivers 2’s launch has been so successful that players are reporting long queue times to even get into the game; it peaked at 457,649 players on Steam alone. But while developer Arrowhead Game Studios has been working on upgrading the Helldivers 2 servers, players have been “squatting” in-game to avoid the lines — i.e., players are keeping their game running while they’re not playing. It’s a move that’s caused frustration with other players who are booting up normally and waiting for their turn.
