Stampede: Racing Royale will be added to Xbox Game Preview and Steam Early Access in the summer, Secret Mode and Sumo Leamington have confirmed. Those on the Xbox Insider Program can already get access to the game already. The 60 player racing battle royale game will also be receiving playtests on Steam soon.

Nintendo just announced the Switch 2 in the most casual way possible. Tweeting on the Japanese account, Shuntaro Furukawa confirmed an announcement would arrive "within the fiscal year", while also revealing a new Direct is due to take place in June. But, even with 26 decently-designed maps, seamless integration into Fortnite’s broader progression systems, and easy-to-setup cross-platform multiplayer for up to 12 players, Rocket Racing struggles to stay fresh after you’ve seen through the cracks of its simplistic car handling and questionable multiplayer balance. Even with a great idea at the center of its circuit, it’s difficult to declare this a Victory Royale.

Fortnite’s more than just a battle royale game, a sandbox survival game with Lego, and a metaverse playground where you can watch a giant Eminem perform. It’s also an arcade racer now, thanks to the addition of Rocket Racing, a new game in Fortnite built by the team behind Rocket League.

PlayStation Plus subscribers’ free Essential games for the month of December are Lego 2K Drive, PowerWash Simulator, and Sable, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on Wednesday. Players can download the trio of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games beginning Tuesday, Dec. 5.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild had three waves of DLC, but Nintendo has "no plans to release additional content" for Tears of the Kingdom.

While Nintendo is known for being a very forward-thinking company and trying to push the bounds of gameplay and console style creatively, they are also known for being incredibly frustrating on certain topics. For example, despite The Big N having the greatest gaming IP library out there, they don’t use them all to their fullest potential. The Nintendo Switch is their best-selling console of all time, and yet many IPs haven’t made it onto the system. One such IP is F-Zero, which fans have been begging for a reboot of for years, with many past members of its dev teams stating they’d help make it happen.

Nintendo announced on Tuesday that it would be releasing a few new bundles, including a Mario Kart 8 bundle and Animal Crossing-themed Nintendo Switch Lites, next month.

Nintendo has revealed three new Switch bundles releasing next month. One is a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle that includes a standard Switch model and the other two are special Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed Switch Lite consoles that include the game.
