Nintendo has revealed the first Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Wave 6 DLC details.
The sixth and final wave of DLC confirmed for the game will launch this holiday.
It will add eight new tracks to the game, including an updated version of Mario Kart Wii’s Daisy Circuit.
New characters being added include Diddy Kong from Mario Kart Double Dash, Funky Kong from Mario Kart Wii, and Pauline and Peachette from Mario Kart Tour.

Priced at $24.99/£24.99, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass will include 48 DLC tracks across six waves, all of which will be released by the end of 2023.
Players who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online’s Expansion Pack receive access to the DLC as part of their subscription.
The fifth wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC was released in July. It included a new course called Squeaky Clean Sprint and classic tracks originally featured in Mario Karts Wii, Tour, Double Dash and Super Circuit.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is Switch’s best-selling game. As of June 2023, it had sold 55.46 million copies, according to Nintendo.
That puts it ahead of Animal Crossing: New Horizons (42.79m), Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (31.77m), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (30.65m) and Super Mario Odyssey (26.44m).

Hallmark’s Keepsake lineup of holiday ornaments is not playing around this season. One of the many new ornaments in its catalog just went up for pre-order, and it’s a mini replica of the Sega Dreamcast console that lights up and makes sounds. There’s a controller plugged into it, and displayed on the tiny VMU screen is an equally adorable Sonic The Hedgehog. To light up and play tunes from Sonic Adventure (what a nice touch), you’ll need to install the three LR44 batteries that are included in the box.

Wave 6 of 's Booster Course Pass is set to arrive this holiday season, and it brings a unique selection of characters from the universe to the table. As the final wave of the episodic DLC, this grand finale for the Booster Course Pass is likely the last chance for characters to appear in the game. This pressure makes it unlikely for every fan to be satisfied with the choices, but the characters include some highly-requested options, including a couple that complete the package of reuniting a prior game's iconic cast.

Support for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is finally about to wind down (unless Nintendo has other plans that haven’t been announced yet, of course). The fifth and penultimate wave of its Booster Course Pass launched in June, and at its recent Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed when the final wave of DLC will launch for the kart racer.

Mario Kart Tour has been hit with a blue shell with Nintendo announcing there will be no more updates on Mario Kart Tour from October 4th.
