It's official: we've finally gotten our first look at the upcoming Indiana Jones game from Wolfenstein developer MachineGames: it's called Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and it's out later this year.

Todd Howard has revealed in a new interview that Bethesda has plans for as much as five years’ worth of content for Starfield.

In an interview with Famitsu, Starfield lead and Bethesda frontman Todd Howard stated that the game's mod support «will be available next year» (obtained via machine translation), which likely refers to Starfield's equivalent to the Creation Kit modding tools for Skyrim and Fallout 4.

We are now less than one month away from the launch of Starfield, the new space-exploration RPG from Bethesda Game Studios – makers of The Elder Scrolls series as well as Fallout 3 and 4. And after an excellent and very well-received 45-minute Starfield Direct presentation in June, hype is running high. This is the first game from this team, led by decorated game director Todd Howard, in eight years (Fallout 4). It’s topped the Steam wishlist charts for the past two months. It is, by the developer’s own account, the biggest game it’s ever made (and for what it’s worth, from the hour I got to play it with Howard – first from the beginning and then quickly jumping between a couple of other save files – I saw nothing to doubt the team’s claims). And as the Xbox’s first-party/exclusive game journey continues to carve out its strange and unforeseen path, it’s turned out to be the most important launch for the platform in a long time.

Starfield is going to be filled with easter eggs. Whether they’re callbacks to Fallout, Skyrim, or the rest of The Elder Scrolls series, or nods to the worlds of RPG games or space exploration itself, we can expect to find a lot of smart little references once we get stuck into the world of Starfield proper. Starfield companions are also bound to play a large role in our adventures, but it seems like one, Sarah Morgan from the Constellation faction, is visually inspired by Bethesda’s own Todd Howard; or more specifically, Todd at the 2018 E3 reveal of Fallout 76.
