Helldivers 2 has been the surprise hit of 2024 so far, giving PS5 owners an exclusive just as the studio confirmed none of its tentpole franchises will be getting new installments until at least April 2025. The multiplayer game has willing recruits teaming up to fight in the name of Super Earth, and now you can look good doing it on regular Earth as Insert Coin has teamed up with Arrowhead to create a line of exclusive Helldivers 2 merch.
Unlike The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 collections announced by Insert Coin last week, there's no waiting around to see what Helldivers 2 merch the outlet has come up with. You don't even have to wait to make it yours as pre-orders for all four items in the collection are already open. Topping the bill is a black and yellow Helldivers hoodie. A zip-up hoodie with a white Helldivers logo across the back and a yellow Helldivers 2 logo on the chest, hovering right over your heart, right where it should be.
The Stratagem hoodie is joined by two t-shirts. The first pairs perfectly with the hoodie, black and yellow with a Helldivers logo across the chest. The second is a little different. Dark grey with an image of Super Earth on the front and a "Say hello to democracy" message printed on the back. Last but not least, unless you're talking about price, is the enamel pin. The same Super Earth logo as the one on the second t-shirt, and the cheapest item in the collection priced at $6.49.
Arrowhead has teamed up with Insert Coin for an official line of Helldivers 2 merch. The hoodie in that collection is black and yellow with a Helldivers 2 logo on the chest and a bigger Helldivers logo across the back.
The most expensive item in the Insert Coin x Helldivers 2 is the hoodie, priced at $70.41. The two t-shirts are considerably less at $27.07 each. All four items can only be pre-ordered for the time being, and no exact release date for them has been announced. They're expected to ship in late May, so hopefully we'll all still be fighting for managed democracy in two months. Helldivers' popularity coupled with the updates being rolled out regularly makes me think we will be.
Insert Coin's official Helldivers 2 collection includes two t-shirts, this one featuring the logo from the Super Earth flag on the front, and a message that reads "say hello to democracy" on the back.
The latest addition to Helldivers 2 was a big one - mechs. Thanks to the liberation of Tien Kwan, mechs are now available to find and pilot in Helldivers 2. The sequel's server struggles briefly returned over the weekend as players flocked to the game all at once to be among the first to take the mechs for a spin. Hopefully that server pressure will ease up as the week progresses so we're not all left on our
Helldivers 2 players have been issued a brand new Major Order, and it seems it's taking direct aim at all of the dedicated bug-squashing fans who aren't so enthusiastic about spilling oil from the deadly Automatons.
With the current Major Order looking all but complete, Helldivers 2 players are attempting to rally their fellow soldiers to the fight on Mantes. The issue, though, is that plenty of people don't fancy the fight against the Automatons.
Players all across the known galaxy converge on certain planets under the name of spreading Managed Democracy in the game Through immersive and organic storytelling reminiscent of the enigmatic gamemaster known as Joel shapes the greater narrative of the game as players contend with hordes of bugs and bots. One way Arrowhead Game Studios directs story efforts is by issuing Major Orders. These missions direct the overall strategy and aims of the playerbase.
Don't back down, double down. The Helldivers 2 propaganda machine is spinning up once again after the horrible flying Terminid bugs debuted in the game, something its creative director dismissed as "propaganda from bug sympathizers" when players first reported it.
Helldivers 2 is getting its first post-launch premium battle pass (also known as a ‘Warbond’) on March 14 and its bringing some electrifying new hardware for players to use in their valiant effort to spread Managed Democracy across the galaxy.
Helldivers 2 players are confidently taunting Game Master Joel after taking six planets, defending two, and capturing two whole sectors in just a few days of hard-hitting, democracy-spreading action. Something that's sparking fear in others afraid of the retaliation the overlord will inevitably bring.
presents players with an abundance of different tools to eliminate the deadly armies of the Terminids and Automatons and Arrowhead Studios is giving fans some insight into how those Stratagems are created. One of the core components of the popular co-op shooter is the ability to call down equipment and support from the skies, most of which take the form of explosive air strikes or precision missile launches. They're undoubtedly one of the most fun aspects of and director Johan Pilestedt wants everyone to know how the team creates them.
Shortly after introducing exosuits to Helldivers 2, developer Arrowhead Game Studios has now issued a new major order for players to chase after. Having dealt with Automatons to quite an extent in the previous major order, the latest one now tasks Helldivers with permanently quarantining Terminids out of an entire sector of the galaxy.
There is no shortage of big bugs to tackle in Helldivers 2, not least the colossal Terminids known as Bile Titans, but if the latest fan theory is to be believed, a much bigger and more formidable foe is on the way.
The latest update for Helldivers 2 has arrived and makes big adjustments to the spawn rates of heavy Terminid enemies like charges and bile titans, making higher difficulties slightly less punishing for some players. Arrowhead Game Studios continues to tweak the overall experience of Helldivers 2, especially now that many of the server and login issues experienced during the game's launch window have passed. Updates continue to roll out often, and new content continues to arrive.
makes a point of recommending the use of firearms in the war for Super Earth but one player is going a completely different route. When there are countless Automatons and Terminids swarming the galaxy, it stands to reason that taking them out will require some heavy firepower either shot from orbit or through the barrel of a gun. Having said that, sometimes a dedicated Helldiver just needs to get down and dirty, trading in an Eagle Strafing Run for the butt of their rifle.
With mechs finally available for players to pilot, Helldivers 2 fans are already disappointed by the underwhelming launch of the EXO-45 exosuits within the game. The newest release from Arrowhead Game Studios has already seen massive success within just a month of its release, selling millions of units across its PC and PS5 versions. Arrowhead would report Helldivers 2 had sold 3 million units less than three weeks following its debut, becoming one of Steam's best-selling games. Now, a new addition to the game has left players conflicted.
