Helldivers 2's First Post-Launch Warbond 'Cutting Edge' Drops March 14

Helldivers 2 players have been issued a brand new Major Order, and it seems it's taking direct aim at all of the dedicated bug-squashing fans who aren't so enthusiastic about spilling oil from the deadly Automatons. 

With the current Major Order looking all but complete, Helldivers 2 players are attempting to rally their fellow soldiers to the fight on Mantes. The issue, though, is that plenty of people don't fancy the fight against the Automatons.

Shortly after introducing exosuits to Helldivers 2, developer Arrowhead Game Studios has now issued a new major order for players to chase after. Having dealt with Automatons to quite an extent in the previous major order, the latest one now tasks Helldivers with permanently quarantining Terminids out of an entire sector of the galaxy.

The latest update for Helldivers 2 has arrived and makes big adjustments to the spawn rates of heavy Terminid enemies like charges and bile titans, making higher difficulties slightly less punishing for some players. Arrowhead Game Studios continues to tweak the overall experience of Helldivers 2, especially now that many of the server and login issues experienced during the game's launch window have passed. Updates continue to roll out often, and new content continues to arrive.

Helldivers 2 has been the surprise hit of 2024 so far, giving PS5 owners an exclusive just as the studio confirmed none of its tentpole franchises will be getting new installments until at least April 2025. With mechs finally available for players to pilot, Helldivers 2 fans are already disappointed by the underwhelming launch of the EXO-45 exosuits within the game. The newest release from Arrowhead Game Studios has already seen massive success within just a month of its release, selling millions of units across its PC and PS5 versions. Arrowhead would report Helldivers 2 had sold 3 million units less than three weeks following its debut, becoming one of Steam's best-selling games. Now, a new addition to the game has left players conflicted.

Helldivers 2 doesn't have any melee weapons yet, but that hasn't stopped one democracy-spreader who's committed to punching every bug they come across.

Priority orders have come down from Super Earth high command (developer Arrowhead Game Studios), calling all available Helldivers to arms in response to the surprise, cowardly, and entirely predictable assault on the foundry world of Tien Kwan, located in the Theseus Sector. Until Liberty and Democracy are restored, production of the EXO-45 Patriot exosuit has been halted, effective immediately, in a masterful piece of marketing and propaganda from Arrowhead.
