Today, CD Projekt Red announced during a special Night City Wire that Cyberpunk 2077's Update 2.0 will go live on September 21, for free, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It also revealed new cinematics, gameplay and music details, and more about Cyberpunk 2077's upcoming expansion, Phantom Liberty, which is out September 26. In the latest Night City Wire, CD Projekt RED debuted a new CGI trailer forCyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. It takes place seven years prior to the expansion’s events, with Solomon Reed (played by Idris Elba), an NUSA agent departing Night City. Unfortunately, he faces betrayal and is left for dead at the hands of his apprentice Song So Mi, aka Songbird, for reasons unknown.
