Today, the team at Squid Research Labs dropped several announcements outlining what’s to come in the “Drizzle Season” that’ll start on September 1st. The game came out on September 9th last year, so it’s a nice way to honor their release month. As you would expect based on the last two “seasons” of the game, there’s plenty to check out and enjoy.

For the most part, I don’t have a dog in the hut when it comes to Splatoon 3 Splatfests. I mean sure, sometimes it might be important for Ganondorf to beat out Link and Zelda (he has real edgy Venom/Shadow energy that should be celebrated) when I have nothing better to do that week. But the results for this particular Splatfest are too spicy not to share.

Millions of players have been enjoying Splatoon 3 since it dropped in 2022, and one of the biggest “outlets” for them to funnel their joy through has been the Splatfests. To be fair, unlike past titles, the Splatfests haven’t always been consistent in their release within the new game. Sometimes they took a back seat to the new “Big Run” events or other things going down. However, Nintendo and the people at Squid Research Labs have felt the need to have back-to-back months with Splatfests again. The good news for you is that Splatoon 3 is hosting the next Splatfest later today.

Which is more important: Money, Fame, or Love? The Squid Research Lab is back with some brand new intel news straight from the Splatlands. Once again, another Splatfest will determine which answer is the indisputably correct one. (Remember, it’s Splatfest law that whichever one wins is the right one, forever.
