There’s a lot going on in League of Legends patch 13.20. Jax has finally got his much-needed visual upgrade, K’Sante is getting a full kit rework, jungle is getting major changes to monster durability and Smite, and, finally, we’re getting some of the best skins to come to LoL in quite some time – including the highly anticipated Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah and Rakan from Wild Rift.

Apple has grappled with the development of its in-house 5G modem for years now, and even acquiring Intel’s business for $1 billion did not aid the company’s endeavors. Finding negligible success in this area, the California-based giant had little choice but to extend its partnership with Qualcomm for three more years, but there was a slight chance that Samsung would be brought into the fold, too. Nexus Mods removed a Starfield mod that got rid of the game’s pronoun options in its character creator. The popular mod platform has held steady on its decision, despite reactions from a loud minority of Starfield fans, who have chimed in on the game’s Steam page and community forum. “Frankly, we are not sad to see them go,” Nexus Mods told 404 Media, noting that the “vitriol” came from a small part of the broader mod community.

If you need a break from the rogues, wizards, and knights of Baldur’s Gate 3, I highly recommend switching things up with the rogues, wizards, and knights of Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, which continues the series’ long-standing puzzle platforming excellence. This quinary sequel certainly plays it safe by sticking very closely to Trine’s established co-op playbook, but it does make some key improvements by significantly ramping up the difficulty and complexity of its puzzles, expanding upon Trine 4’s progression system, and adding several unique and memorable boss fights. That said, it still hasn’t broken out of the series’ rut of bland combat sections that pad out the adventure, or conjured up a story that doesn’t pale in comparison to its superb puzzles and platforming. That’s not particularly exciting or revolutionary, but it’s more Trine – and that’s anything but a bad thing.

Stumble Guys, a colorful free-to-play battle royale game in which players will navigate obstacle courses in a race-like style to avoid elimination, will be coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. A specific release date is yet to be announced, but players can pre-register via the registration page on the official Stumble Guys website. 

It's fair to say that Starfield is Bethesda's most important game release in years, probably the biggest thing it's done since rejuvenating the Fallout series back in 2008. And Bethesda head of publishing Pete Hines recently made it clear that the studio is taking the job of bringing that game to life seriously—and that he'll brook no suggestion that the studio is half-assing any part of it.

We got word of a sequel to cyberpunk hack-and-slasher Ghostrunner back in May 2021, and now we have a date. 505 Games set Ghostrunner 2 up as another drop in a jam-packed bucket on October 26, 2023.

Bethesda’s Starfield is one of the most hotly anticipated titles of 2023, which is a heck of an achievement for a year that’s already played host to heavy hitters like Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4, and Diablo 4, to list a few. It’s easy to see the appeal, too, as the game’s been described as “Skyrim in space” by Todd Howard himself. It’s a given, of course, that not everyone will find themselves enjoying what appears to be a classic Bethesda Game Studios RPG, but some may have taken their biases a tad too far.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1 seems to have left everything from the original games intact, but comes with a warning that some of the content may be "considered outdated" to modern audiences. The game advises "player discretion", clearly feeling that some aspects of the games have aged poorly.

As far as crotch customization in videogames goes, vanilla Baldur's Gate 3 is doing a pretty good job. That's already infinitely more genitals than most games let you see or tweak when creating characters, but it comes as no surprise that they're just not enough for Baldur's Gate 3's burgeoning modding scene.

Beginning with the month of September and each month through December, the Trading Post will be introducing new transmogs sets and new transmog weapon sets specific to each class.  Each armor set comes with three pieces: helm, shoulder, and belt, and each weapon set comes with 3 weapons to match each discipline—with the exception of Druids having 4 and Demon Hunters with 2.

With today's PTR build, Blizzard seems to be changing some data entries for Siege of Orgrimmar items, including Heirloom items from Garrosh Hellscream. While these changes don't confirm anything, it is possible that it is a change to prepare the Mists of Pandaria raid to be the new Timewalking raid. Making Mists of Pandaria the next Timewalking raid would be the perfect opportunity for a new source of the now unobtainable Garrosh Hellscream Heirloom weapons. These items were previously all removed in a different PTR build and are now returning. The items in question are all the original IDs from Siege of Orgrimmar normal difficulty items. To those unfamiliar, with the raid difficulty changes from Patch 6.0, all Siege of Orgrimmar loot received new item ids. This patch was the addition of the Mythic difficulty and ever since then, items started using bonus ids for changes between item versions. Until WoD, all different item versions, like Heroic, Warforged, or Heroic Warforged, had different item ids. This change was made because of the bloat in the list of items. For instance, Revelations of Y'Shaarj, which is item id 112940 post-WoD Pre-Patch, actually had six different item versions in Mists of Pandaria:

Ubisoft has reportedly killed an unrevealed sequel to Immortals: Fenyx Rising. According to a new report from VGC, several sources told the outlet that early development on a follow-up was halted earlier in the month before being canceled completely, as company leadership was uncertain about its viability as a property.
