While this could be useful, in practice for most players this doesn't change much with the Supply Shipment crates. If you don't have the materials on you when you are out farming, you will still need to go to town to fill the order or turn in the supply crate. For example, if you are out farming and Waylaid Supplies: Peacebloom drops, if you aren't an Herbalist with 20 Peacebloom in your bags, your options are delete the crate for nothing, run to town to turn it in unfilled, or run to town and buy 20 Peacebloom from the Auction House to fill the order.
