Diablo 4 Patch 1.2.3 HOTFIX 4: Midwinter Blight Material Droprate Increased

Blizzard has hotfixed caches such as from dropping now that Midwinter Blight has ended — while the holiday cheer was nice, the Red-Cloaked Horror has moved on from the Fractured Peaks.

The Red-Cloaked Horror has declared everyone in the Fractured Peaks as naughty, so his holiday job is done — the Midwinter Blight event is about to end! With less than 48 hours to go, players looking to sneak in one last cosmetic purchase don't have long before Gileon and the Blighted monsters leave Sanctuary for the season. With the end of Diablo 4's Midwinter Blight event less than three days away, players will be seeing some sets removed from Tejal's stock — so now's the time to get them before they're gone! The Midwinter Blight collection, consisting of Midwinter Shifter, Midwinter Mourner, Midwinter Charmer, Midwinter Stalker, and Midwinter Carouser, along with the special companion mount bundle The Red Mare of Midwinter will all be leaving the shop at the end of the holiday event, so players looking to grab one of these cosmetic sets now have less than 72 hours to do so. Midwinter Blight is in full swing, and many players have proved they're on Father Winter's nice list by gathering, slaying the Red-Cloaked Horror, and upgrading their Midwinter Blight decorations in Kyovashad square. What players are reporting may have been missed, however, is a certain Midwinter Melody sung by our favorite Bard, Gileon. Upon upgrading the Midwinter Blight rewards to Tier 3, Gileon graces the player with a short Midwinter Melody — but some players have reported that both the decoration upgrades and this little ditty bugged for them, leaving them unable to see it. The nights are growing colder, and the Season of Blood is getting shorter, so if you're a new player looking into checking out the season or are looking to get a character ready for the Abattoir of Zir at level 100, then Midwinter Blight Event farming is a great way to kill two demons with one stone! New Zone Event for Midwinter Summons Red-Cloaked Horror Abattoir of Zir Returning in the Future With the Midwinter Blight in the Fractured Peaks, you will come across themed monsters, events, and special Midwinter events in the zone that will give you various materials which can be exchanged in Kyovashad at the Midwinter Square. These events are an excellent way to quickly gain large chunks of experience for your character! By hopping from event to event, you can make quick progress on the Midwinter Tribute to unlock Caches and cosmetic rewards, which can accelerate your leveling even further by drinking some of which applies a whopping 15% Experience Gain! This brew can be found in any of the Midwinter Caches you might come across while engaging in activities from the event, as well as for a low cost from Gileon himself.

It's the Helliday season, and players are storming the Fractured Peaks for the Midwinter Blight event to farm for cosmetic rewards. One of the best ways to get these is by exchanging the you receive for killing the Red-Cloaked Horror — but how do you find this menancing monster? Players must interact with a specific holiday Zone Event called the Blighted Revelry.

Midwinter Blight is finally here, and players are traversing the Fractured Peaks to experience the winter wonderland and find new loot. Anyone looking to get Tribute Tiers for special prizes during the event must scour their map for the right materials.

A special boss called the Red-Cloaked Horror appears in event for as a foe that you can beat for rare seasonal rewards. This creature only appears for a limited time for those looking to receive winter-themed gear for their character. Your mastery of this game's combat will determine if you are even worthy of earning the frigid prizes seen in this event.
