Two new items have been added to the Patch 10.2.7 PTR: Bones of Mannoroth and a Cosmetic version of the Tusks of Mannoroth. The Tusks of Mannoroth is one of the rarest transmogs in the game with the drop chance of this item estimated at around 0.1% to 0.3%. It has been made slightly easier with a Siege of Orgrimmar Skip in Patch 10.1.5, but at those drop rates, it'll still take a long time to farm. In the latest Patch 10.2.7 PTR, two new items have been datamined, the first being a cosmetic version of Tusks of Mannoroth.

Fans of both Baldur's Gate 3 and Stardew Valley are in for a treat, with the Baldur’s Village project combining both games into one. This mod for Stardew Valley will add all of the main characters from Baldur's Gate 3 into the game, giving you an excuse to romance them all over again.

Fans of the cozy farming sim Stardew Valley have discovered a new Easter egg hidden in the game’s menu screens. Added in Stardew Valley’s recent 1.6 Update, the find is yet another reason to enjoy the game’s massive expansion.

This week we take a look at the initial flurry of information coming with the War Within Alpha and how it might affect gold making and professions. A hidden detail makes one of the game's more disturbing braindances even more eerie. Throughout CD Projekt Red's sci-fi RPG, players are able to relive moments from other Night City residents' perspectives through a virtual reality-type recording called braindances, which lets V feel their emotional states and anything they physically felt, as well as watching events unfold. With today's announcement of Dragonflight Season 4, Blizzard revealed that all Dragonflight raids will be Awakened starting the week of June 4th, limiting players' opportunities to overgear raids during Season 4. With Dragonflight Season 4 being a Dragonflight «Victory Lap» as Blizzard called it previously, many players were looking to use this extra power to overgear some of the raid content of the season to farm transmogs, mounts, and manuscripts that they ended up missing. However, with the rotation announcement that all raids will be Awakened starting on the 7th lockout of the season, this opportunity is heavily reduced. With this, players will only have four weeks in which each of the Dragonflight raids won't be Awakened. That is unless the Awakened system is different from the Fated system in Shadowlands. Back in Shadowlands, once all raids became Fated, it didn't give players the ability to turn it off. It is possible that Dragonflight's Awakened system will be different, but it is unsure at this point. Some of the rewards affected by this:

Herbalism is the first Profession to undergo tweaking in The War Within, introducing a new farm-based minigame as well as changing how some pre-existing mechanics like Seeds work. While generally following the same framework as it did in Dragonflight, Herbalists will see some new bonuses and effects in their Specialization trees, as well as have the chance to find all-new Herb Nodes out in the wild!

Wrath of the Lich King received a new update yesterday, version 3.4.3.54261. There was no prior communication about an update, and there has been no official posts about what this new build includes. This is most likely to prepare for the launch of Cataclysm Classic, as the Gold Cap was increased to that amount when Cataclysm was originally released in 2010. Characters are no longer capped out at ! The Guild Bank Gold Cap has also been increased to with this build. As players have been getting more effective with gold farming, and with the popularity of GDKP runs in Wrath Classic, the cap increase might come as a welcome relief to players. Some have previously voiced their thoughts on a higher Gold Cap being needed for the launch of Wrath Classic, citing better ways to earn gold and the previously mentioned GDKP runs as arguments to increase the cap.

Arrowhead Game Studios has addressed Helldivers 2's Super Credit farming exploit, confirming that it aims to fix the issue soon.

Helldivers 2 has a few different currencies, but the one that everyone wants is the Super Credits. They're the premium currency of Helldivers 2 that you can use to unlock cool armor in the game's store and the premium Warbonds, which are filled with goodies. They can be either be bought or found scattered pretty liberally across pretty much every planet you drop onto, which is unusually generous of a live service title. Unfortunately, some players have been taking advantage of developer Arrowhead's kindness.

Arlecchino is a highly anticipated playable character added with Version 4.6 after being presented as an NPC during the Fontaine storyline. Using the best build for Aventurine in and inserting him into a proper team comp can significantly improve his performance as a shielder and even enhance his damage output, as he is an aggressive support unit. Initially introduced as an NPC in Penacony with Version 2.0, Aventurine became a playable character with Version 2.1. In battle, he uses Imaginary DMG and follows the Path of the Preservation. His specialty is protecting allies from harm with a unique shielding mechanic, but he stands out when compared to the likes of Gepard or Fu Xuan in .

After it came out in 2016, Stardew Valley set a new standard for the farming sim genre. It’s a game that can be as chill or as intense as each player wants, and the charming pixel art and iconic soundtrack really cement it as a quintessential “cozy game.”

Players looking to self-fund their Elixirs and Potions might be interested in the Nightmare Resonance Crystal, a reward from the Emerald Wardens at Exalted. This crystal allows players to pick herbs in Nightmare Incursions without Herbalism — and possibly receive rare gear drops as well! So far, players have confirmed finding Resonating Nightmare Bloom nodes in the Ashenvale incursion, but it's theorized that the Nightmare Resonance Crystal will function similarly in all incursions.

Last year, it was announced that the open world racing title The Crew would be delisted from storefronts and have its servers shut down in 2024, as developer Ubisoft claimed it was necessary to do so due to "server infrastructure and licensing constraints." With The Crew being an online-only title, it meant that the game was made completely unplayable when the servers were eventually shut down on March 31.

Farming the right materials for Aventurine’s Ascension in is the first step in optimizing the character as a damage mitigator in team comps. Aventurine is a 5-star Imaginary unit that follows the Path of Preservation. Like all characters on that Path, Aventurine is responsible for protecting his teammates and lowering the amount of damage they receive. He does so in the most traditional way of all: granting them shields. Unlike other shielders, however, the new character in 2.1 has an exclusive mechanic related to his shields.

It's rough out there right now if you're a Starfield fan. From an initial read of the title, I was under the impression that Chicken for Linda! was about a little girl who really wanted a pet chicken. I was wrong. The French animated movie from directors Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach takes place in modern France and follows a little girl named Linda who really wants to eat chicken. Specifically chicken with peppers. For Linda’s mom, Paulette, who mostly serves up frozen meals and doesn’t really cook at all, making this dish is already a challenge.

If adding mechs to Call of Duty led to Titanfall, and adding mechs to farm sims led to Lightyear Frontier, then does that make Lightyear Frontier the Titanfall of farm sims?

Stardew Valley is known as a cozy game, an experience that lets you settle into the repetition of tasks like tilling soil, planting seeds, and watering crops. The game’s split into 28-day seasons — and you’ve got to be in bed by 2 a.m. each night — but there’s otherwise no real time limit. You’re free to go about your day as you please. You don’t even have to farm; plenty of players spend their days fishing, exploring Stardew Valley’s deep mines, or tending to flocks of sheep. But for all its coziness, Stardew Valley isn’t a casual game. After you get sucked into the idyllic nature of farm life, it’s easy to be enticed further by the hardcore nature of getting everything done as efficiently as possible. There’s a lot to keep track of: When’s the best time to plant eggplant seeds? What are Shane’s favorite gifts? How many more fish do I need to catch?

When I got the chance to review Stardew Valley for Polygon in 2016, I had no idea how huge it would become. What I found during my review period was a quiet, succinct, and engrossing game about doing chores, which didn’t feel all that genre-defining. It was a great game, and over the years I would get it on two additional platforms (Nintendo Switch and mobile), but I didn’t look at it as a “game of the decade” contender.

With Patch 1.15.2 launching today, Blizzard revealed that the quests Repelling Invaders and Clear the Forest! are now daily instead of weekly, allowing players to quickly farm reputation with Silverwing Sentinels and Warsong Outriders. Battle for Ashevale Event Guide These quests can be obtained by looting Warsong Outrider Mark/Silverwing Sentinel Charm from killing opposite faction NPCs during a Battle for Ashenvale. The items can then be turned to your faction leaders at their bases during the battle or at Astraanar/Splintertree Post after the battle.

The rarest currency you can farm in is Silver Coins, a special type of money used to buy some of the best gear in the game. Unlike common Sen currency, Silver doesn't come from discarding old items, but rather from completing specific tasks in a region. Anyone looking to purchase the strongest items will have to focus on certain content to earn their weight in Silver.

brought a lot of new features with it that haven't been seen in previous games. The physics system that's used for Link's new Ultrahand ability is smooth and not like any systems he's used in the past. However, one particular system uses items in ways that destroy them, so having a steady supply of strong items to work with becomes important, especially against tougher enemies and bosses. Considering that weapons are subject to a durability system, Link goes through a lot of items throughout the duration of his journey to save Hyrule once more.

When Stardew Valley first came out in 2016, it was positioned as a Harvest Moon-like. The comparison was the only way at the time to describe a low-stakes farming simulator with a village of locals to meet and perhaps marry. It’s difficult to remember that now, in an era where “cozy gaming” has taken on a life of its own and “wholesome” games have their own showcases with hundreds of thousands of viewers, but Stardew was released into a different world. And then it made this one. Its latest major content release, the 1.6 update, is a testament to the game’s longevity in the genre that it shaped.

Stardew Valleymight be primarily known as a farming sim where you can also romance the village locals, but there’s way more to do than just plant crops. In fact, there is so much to do that it can sometimes be overwhelming to plan out your days. Do you go fishing or to the mines? Do you stay at home or explore a new island? The best part is that there are a lot of ways to play the game, and none of them are wrong. Some just might be more preferable than others.

The past week has seen Stardew Valley players hungrily exploring the wealth of new content, bug fixes, and Easter eggs that have made their way to the PC version of the beloved farming RPG courtesy of the newly released 1.6 update.

A Stardew Valley player has discovered a new get-rich-quick scheme thanks to a new item introduced in the 1.6 update. 

Part of the Patch 10.2.6 updates includes the addition of many new meta-achievement mounts. One of them is an addition to an old achievement, Into the Storm, which now rewards the Coralscale Salamanther mount. This achievement was added at the start of Dragonflight and requires you to do some tasks under Elemental Storms, including killing 200 enemies under each elemental storm in each of Dragonflight's original zones.

I wake up in the morning and immediately get into my mech; I never leave home without it. An unnecessarily cheery voice in my ear tells me that it’s a beautiful day and maybe I should water my crops. I attach a big hose to my mech’s arm and water my berries. Then, I walk out into the giant meadow where I’ve made my home, feed the local wildlife, and wander over to a huge, mysterious door. When I’m done, I go home, leave my mech, and crawl back into bed for a good night’s sleep. I think about the upgrades I need to collect resources for and the areas I have to explore, but I know I can take my time.

One of the most wholesome stories about Stardew Valley's 1.6 update launch was that the developer behind the farming sim's most beloved modding project, Stardew Valley Expanded, helped make it happen. And yet that might not have come to be if FlashShifter hadn't fallen on hard times after an unfortunate brush with car theft.

Stardew Valley players are trying to start an extremely cursed speedrunning challenge, and it involves them chugging a jar of mayonnaise as fast as possible. 

Farming the right materials to Ascend Acheron in may require a bit of work, though all of it could be pre-farmed well before her arrival in Version 2.1. Acheron is a new 5-star Lightning unit that follows the Path of the Nihility. Her specialty is applying debuffs on enemies and, with that, dealing an immense amount of damage based on how many debuffs those opponents have on them – which makes her a fantastic asset in a team with Kafka or Black Swan in , for instance.

A revamp to the Codex of Power Legendary Aspect system is coming to Diablo 4 in Season 4! Blizzard emphasized an extensive update and overhaul to many of the systems that make up Diablo 4, and the update to the Codex of Power and Legendary Aspects does not disappoint. Moving forward, on both the Eternal and Seasonal realms, all Legendary Aspects will be found in the Codex of Power — and can be upgraded past their base values. Season 4 Campfire Chat Summary — Diablo 4 Instead of needing to extract the powers to keep in their stash for future use, players can now salvage Legendaries to unlock and upgrade the Aspects within the Codex of Power.
