Tekken 8 Could Be One of the Best Tekken Games Ever | Push Square

We were lucky enough to spend close to an entire day with Tekken 8 at a recent Bandai Namco press event — and we walked away from the experience thoroughly impressed. We've had high hopes for the long-running series' latest instalment for quite some time — especially since we're such big fans of Tekken 7 — but going hands-on with a near-final build of Tekken 8 really solidified our belief that this bone-crunching fighter could be something very special.

A Pokemon Fan Has Scientifically Determined The Worst Gym Leader In The Series

Pokémon has had a lot of tough trainers to overcome throughout its long history, and while we all remember the likes of Cynthia, Miltank-wielding Whitney, and Scarlet & Violet's Larry, they can't all be fantastic. Gym Leaders vary greatly in terms of quality and power throughout each game, but we've never been able to nail down which one is categorically the worst in the series.

The creators of Othercide, the grimmest TRPG ever made, are making a superhero dating sim

Othercide from French developer Lightbulb Crew is one of my favourite recent tactics RPGs. It's an atmospheric and rewardingly meticulous experience that typically pits you against overwhelming numbers, where victory comes about by carefully exploiting reaction abilities, positioning your troop of weary warriors just-so, and manipulating the initiative bar. At times, for me, it's up there with Into The Breach.

After a bad launch, Cities: Skylines 2 has already gotten an array of performance improvements and bug fixes. The devs say that these sorts of updates will continue in perpetuity, but you should expect the most serious issues to be worked out by spring 2024.

D&D's Revised Player's Handbook 'will be the biggest Player's Handbook that D&D has ever had', and like all the Revised core books will be compatible with the current edition

At this year's PAX Unplugged—a special edition of PAX dedicated to tabletop games—Wizards of the Coast's designers presented a panel celebrating the upcoming 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons. At the end of that panel they looked ahead to 2024 and the upcoming Revised editions of the core rulebooks, previously codenamed OneD&D.

The Finals surprised launched during The Game Awards on Thursday night and its popularity has picked up where last month's open beta left off. There has been some negative feedback, however, from players upset that player movement is now slower than it was during the beta.
