As noted wisely by a certain game developer recently, when patches go out for titles, the goal is to fix the game and the problems that popped up. However, the catch is that the patch can fix the problem while creating new ones. The concept is not new in game development, yet it’s always hilarious to see exactly what kind of bugs pop up after others get “fixed.” For Diablo IV, they had a patch that seemed to do everything right based on gamer response. However, now an exploit has come around that gamers will be taking advantage of until it’s fixed.
