The Tales of Sanctuary is a collection of free-to-read Diablo IV short stories introducing a cast of new characters, with a few familiar faces sprinkled in. The third entry into this series is “Sanctum of Bone” by Carly Anne West and can be read below.
Tejal tells the tale of Iolaynah, who journeys to the moors of Scosglen in search of her missing sister and Droman Grigso, the Sorcerer her sister sought out to study. But deep in the moldering halls of Grigso’s mysterious sanctum, Iolaynah finds dark secrets and a legacy of his wicked deeds.

Blizzard Global Community Director Adam «Pezradar» Fletcher confirmed that they are looking into additional social features like Looking for Group, Trade and General chats similar to how Diablo 3's chat system was structured. Currently, the social systems are limited to local and clan chat without a proper way to handle trading or group finding sources.
Diablo 4 is walking back several changes from its big Season 1 patch which had made the game an even bigger slog and proved to be overwhelmingly controversial with fans. Blizzard had previously spoken about the upcoming 1.1.1 plaster update during a developer livestream, but the new patch notes detail everything we can expect, including crucial fixes, tweaks to mounts, and big buffs for the Sorcerer and Barbarian classes. The patch drops on August 8th.
The next patch for Diablo 4 will arrive next week and bring buffs for the vilified Sorcerer and Barbarian classes.
In what seems to be a strategically timed announcement, the highly anticipated action-RPG sequel Path of Exile 2 has set a June 7, 2024 closed beta date, just as Diablo 4 stumbles through Season 1. Path of Exile developer Grinding Gear Games announced the beta at ExileCon, Path of Exile's aptly named BlizzCon alternative.

Ever wanted to know more about the world of Sanctuary without having to play through every side quest? Reddit user InudAx did — and they went and created videos for each zone to showcase the great voice acting, storylines, and worldbuilding, without all the pesky walking and combat! Blizzard has revealed a number of improvements coming to Diablo 4’s heavily-criticised horses.
As part of the Season of the Malignant, AKA Diablo 4 Season 1, players can choose to purchase a season blessing. These are boosts that come in urns, like the Urn of Aggression, which increases xp earned from kills, and the Urn of Malignance, which increases the rate of Malignant Heart drops. Then there's the Urn of Bargaining, which is supposed to increase the amount of gold you earn by selling gear to vendors. And that's where the problem comes in.
Blizzard has confirmed that buffs for Diablo 4's Sorcerers and Barbarians are on the way.
