Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was a major financial flop for Warner Bros. Discovery, as revealed in a new report. Suicide Squad seemed very promising when it was first announced at the inaugural DC FanDome event back in 2020, with Batman: Arkham series developer Rocksteady returning to its acclaimed DC gaming universe for a new title centered around the rogue’s gallery of Task Force X. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League would take the team of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark to Metropolis to battle the corrupted heroes of Earth.

The legendary DC Comics assassin Deathstroke has rallied to the defense of the Last City thanks to the efforts of a creative Destiny 2 player's customized costume setup. The costume uses Destiny 2 Titan armor pieces that are fairly easy to access, and cleverly repurposes pieces meant to evoke an entirely different crossover franchise.

The popular DC Universe Online MMO is finally coming to the PlayStation 5, and there is new information about the game’s upcoming 2024 content. Developer Dimensional Ink Games and prolific MMO publisher Daybreak Game Company released DC Universe Online for the PS3 and PC way back in 2011, providing comic book fans with a virtual sandbox where they can create their own characters and join forces with iconic DC heroes and villains to complete various missions and side activities.

WB Games Montreal, the studio behind Gotham Knights, could be assisting Monolith Productions with its upcoming WonderWomangame — at least according to a newly discovered job listing. WB Montreal is already well familiar with the DC Universe, having helped Rocksteady with Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition for the Wii U in 2012 before releasing Batman: Arkham Origins the following year. Its next gaming venture took it outside of the Arkhamverse with Gotham Knights, a spiritual successor that shifted the focus toward the other members of the Bat Family as they carried out the mission of defending Gotham City after Batman’s death.

There are certain ways to tell if a video game is doing well or if it’s not. If it is, you’ll hear all sorts of things about its reviews, its “accolades,” and its impressive sales figures. If a game isn’t doing well, you’ll hear nothing about such “accolades” or trailers singing its praises. Instead, you’ll hear about how people are trying to get refunds for the title. Or, if things are really not going bad, you’ll start to see discounts for the title soon after launch. Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League is one such game that you can now get for a much-discounted price than at launch.

Players now have an official release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s first DLC season, which will add an alternate timeline version of the infamous Joker to the game’s roster of playable characters. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features a new incarnation of The Joker to emerge from the Multiverse and assist in the battle to retake Metropolis from Brainiac and his army of mind-controlled minions.

The month of February was a “unique one” for the gaming industry as a whole. At the beginning of the month, Atlus released their big remake title to great success and acclaim. Then, yesterday, Square Enix dropped the second part of ITS remake saga and it was also met by love from fans and critics. However, not all titles within February were revered, with the big one being Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League. The title from Rocksteady had a long and winding road to release, and ever since its release, gamers have been asking the studio to fix the problems that keep popping up in it.

NetherRelam has just released the patch notes for the new Peacemaker update, which is now available in Early Access to those who purchased the game’s Premium Edition. While he was once a relatively obscure DC Comics antihero, Peacemaker (real name Christopher Smith) has garnered mainstream attention over the past few years thanks to WWE star John Cena’s performance in DC Extended Universe projects like The Suicide Squad and the Peacemaker series on Max. This has led to Peacemaker being included as a DLC guest fighter in Mortal Kombat 1 alongside the previously released Omni-Man and the upcoming Homelander.

To say that Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League has gotten off to a rather rough start is an understatement in most gamers’ minds. While it might not have been a total “DOA” situation as some speculated it would be, there’s little doubt that it’s not what fans wanted overall, and even Warner Bros admitted that the game “didn’t meet sales expectations.” To be fair, some players enjoy the title and have been posting about it online, but those players are few and far between, and the ones who have beaten the game have noted that it’s not really a “worthy end” to a title that has been developed over several years.

NetherRelam has finally shown off some of Peacemaker’s gameplay ahead of his forthcoming Mortal Kombat 1 debut, and there is even a new Kameo fighter to go with him. Every Mortal Kombat entry since 2011’s MK 9 included guest characters from other popular media as post-launch content, and Mortal Kombat 1 is continuing this tradition with its ongoing Kombat Pack 1. First came Omni-Man, who brought his brutal brand of Viltrumite justice to the rebooted world of MK 1 back in November. He will eventually be joined by The Boys’ Homelander sometime this spring, but before that another comic-book character will be stepping into the MK 1 arena.

Mortal Kombat 1 has an interesting roster stacked with Kombatants, both familiar and new, and the DLC Kombat Pack promised to bring even more craziness to things. The first entrant was Omni-Man, who brought an overpowering presence to the game. Then, there was Quan Chi, who used his sorcery to shake things up and make foes squirm. But now, the third entrant is the man who will fight for peace with all his heart, no matter the cost of getting it. Yes, we’re talking about Peacemaker, and his gameplay trailer reveals just how much like his live-action counterpart he is. Hint: he’s pretty much an exact replica.

Fans have spotted a dark Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Easter egg hinting that James Gordon Jr. might be walking free in the Arkhamverse. After several years and numerous delays, Rocksteady finally released its Suicide Squad game late last month, putting players in the role of Task Force X as they battle against the brainwashed members of the Justice League in an open-world version of Metropolis. Reception to the game has been mixed, with plenty of controversy surrounding Suicide Squad’s plot and live-service gameplay model.

Officially, Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League comes out on February 2nd, the same day that another big title arrives from Atlus. But a few days before, on January 30th, a special “early access” period will start for certain gamers to get into the title beforehand. These dates would excite players if they were hyped for the title. But, currently, the hype for the next game by Rocksteady Studios is “mixed” at best. An easy counter to this “mixed hype” would be to see how the reviews turn out and if critics can sway some of them to the developers’ side. Yet, if reports are to be believed, there’s a problem on that end.

The title takes place in the same universe as Rocksteady Games' titles, and instead of the team being inmates at the Belle Reve super prison, Waller recruits them from Arkham Asylum.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of this show, especially those who are familiar with the DC Comics folklore. Bodies Season 1 is based on a graphic novel and comic of the same name, set in the DC Universe. The eight-episode chapter revolves around four detectives of different eras and their attempts to solve a mystery to secure the future of Britain.

DC Studios has released the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom teaser trailer ahead of the full trailer’s release this Thursday. The film will come out on December 20.
