A newly-discovered glitch in EA Sports FC 24 is doing the rounds for both looking very silly and managing to break the beautiful game.

EA Sports FC 24 – the artist formerly known as FIFA – is currently being rocked by a bug that sees players forgo the beautiful game’s rules to score easy goals. 

When it comes to Dragon Ball FighterZ, the game came out of nowhere and was able to make a big splash with gamers. The team put plenty of effort into making the title shine not just visually but gameplay-wise. Over the course of its life, numerous characters from various sagas within the series were brought in to build quite an impressive roster. Even now, years after its release, the game is still praised and talked about, including by its own team! The official Dragon Ball website talked with producers Hiroki and Hirano to talk about their favorite parts of the title, favorite characters, and more!

Sand Land grabbed a hold of my attention unexpectedly after its reveal this summer, and I’ve been waiting for more news on the upcoming RPG since. Go Mecha Ball is by far the coolest Steam Next Fest demo I’ve played so far, and I can’t recommend it enough. A top-down, twin-stick shooter where you can turn into a giant mecha wrecking ball that bounces around the tight playspaces while shooting at enemies, Go Mecha Ball is a fast-paced roguelike that genuinely had me upset when I got to the end of the demo. It’s a little bit Super Monkey Ball and has the bright bouncy play of something like Rocket League, it’s great.

Action tends to fall between two extremes, tactical and arcade.  In tactical action you bide your time waiting for the right moment to make your move, assessing the enemy’s movements for an opening and then exploiting it for all it’s worth, while in arcade games you do the same thing but really fast.  Go Mecha Ball falls squarely into the latter camp of game design, with a kitty-mech stomping through battle arenas and shooting down all the rogue glitch-bots in its path.  Which is a fairly pedestrian thing for a kitty-mech to do, so it also rolls up into a ball to smash, bounce, crash, and beat on any bot that’s unlucky enough to get in the way.

A recent trademark filed by Bandai Namco might have revealed that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4's name will actually be Budokai Tenkaichi: Zero, which fans think could mean that it's a reboot of the series.

OK, so unlike Gollum this does seem pretty swish. I am getting pungent whiffs of Labyrinth Zone, and there are some nice single-screen Pac-Man-meets-Celeste puzzle setups in there. It feels like a fleshed-out version of an entry to last year's PongJam, hosted by Digital Extremes technical designer Scott Melanson, which gave us such wonders as Turn-Based Pong and Pong meets the Iranian Revolution. The logical plotline here is surely for the left paddle to return as the final boss.

CyberConnect2’s latest paid DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, The 23rd World Tournament, is out next week. Announced by Bandai Namco DE on Twitter, it launches on August 17th. It’s the second DLC in Season Pass 2, following Bardock – Alone Against Fate, and set before the Saiyan Saga.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a title that has had surprising legs on it despite not being the most-beloved title in the anime’s gaming line. Many were surprised by the depth that the game had in both its gameplay, fleshing out the story between some of the major arcs of the show and beyond. Then, when the DLC came around, they started bringing in content that hadn’t really been touched in gameplay before. For example, they showcased the story of Goku’s father, Braddock, and how the Saiyan race fell thanks to Freiza. But soon, the fifth DLC will highlight a key moment in Goku’s past.
