Foamstars Confirmed To Have AI Art Within It

Various “trends” within the digital space over the last several years have come and gone and caused all sorts of problems along the way. But one problem that persists among certain groups is the plans for using AI not just in writing but also in art. You might recall that the Hollywood strike among writers and actors was partially caused by studios wanting to use AI scripts and pay writers less as a result or use AI to capture a person’s likeness and use them in films without consent. For video games like Foamstars, using AI isn’t “out of bounds” when it comes to art, apparently.

Midjourney alternative: Meet Gencraft, an AI art generator that can generate both images and videos

As far as AI art generators are concerned, not all of them are built the same way. Today, users have a wide range of choices to create their own AI-generated images through platforms such as DALL-E, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and even the AI Generative Fill tool in Photoshop. However, mastering these platforms takes time and effort, and getting your desired results without understanding various tools and filters can be tricky. However, if you're in search of an easy-to-use platform, you would be more benefitted by using Gencraft, a fine Midjourney alternative. It is an AI art generator with a user-centered approach.

As his Kickstarter passes $1.3 million, publisher defends Terraforming Mars’ generative AI art: ‘It’s too powerful a technology’

On Aug. 1 crowdfunding giant Kickstarter announced its new policy on generative artificial intelligence, which required creators to disclose its use in the description of their campaigns beginning Aug. 29. But one of the first tabletop teams to admit to using the controversial technology isn’t a bootstrapped start-up. Instead, it’s Indie Game Studios’ imprint Stronghold Games, the United States-based licensor of the wildly popular Terraforming Mars. The strategy game is an international bestseller that has sold more than 1.5 million copies in at least 16 languages, ranks among the best board games in the world, and is currently being shopped around Hollywood for a movie or TV deal.

Stronghold Games Openly Embraces AI Art For Their Latest Kickstarter

The use of AI art in board games has been a hot topic lately, and for good reason. Its use in commercial work is in both a morally and legally grey area (to be generous). Recently, Kickstarter announced that they weren’t banning products using AI art on their platform, but are requiring creators to disclose when they are being used.
