Tekken 8 adds Raven, newcomer Azucena

Falcom has released new information and screenshots for Ys X: Nordics introducing Adol and Karja’s unique skills, the Mana Action “Mana Sense,” and Raven Stones.

Four versions of Tekken 8 are up for preorder, including a massive collector's edition.

During today’s Opening Night Live show at gamescom 2023, Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada showcased a brand-new trailer for Tekken 8. Unlike the past several trailers, which tended to focus on a single character, this one unveils a whole slew of veteran fighters at once as well as a new single-player mode for fans and newcomers to enjoy. We also now finally know Tekken 8’s release date, which is January 26 of next year.

Tekken 8 will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on January 26, 2024, Bandai Namco announced as part of Gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live. Pre-orders are available now.

Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 is confirmed to appear at Gamescom Opening Night Live tonight, and with its recent age rating in South Korea, a release date could be announced. However, it seems that may have already leaked, courtesy of @ALumia_Italia on Twitter, which follows the Xbox Store’s backend.

Diablo Immortal’s 17th Season is coming with the new update, which also adds dozens of new Legendary items, a new Battle Pass, atweaked Conqueror PvP event, and the arrival of Training Grounds.  

With Gamescom Opening Night Live now right around the corner, its lineup of confirmed titles is continuing to fill up, and another major upcoming game has now joined that list. Taking to Twitter, Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada and Gamescom ONL producer and host Geoff Keighley recently confirmed that Tekken 8 will be shown off at Gamescom Opening Night Live tomorrow, on August 22.

A collaboration “Bean Bomber” from Fall Guys will appear as a playable character in Super Bomberman R 2, Konami announced.

PS Plus Premium’s growing selection of emulated classics looks set to expand yet again in the near-future, with the Taiwanese ratings board classifying two retro PSP titles for PS5 and PS4. Listings for both Tekken 6 and SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny appeared overnight, with the latter obviously being a handheld exclusive. The former also released on the PS3, but it’s almost certain we’ll be getting the surprisingly strong portable port in this particular instance.

Recently at Evo, Bandai Namco showed off Tekken 8 once more, confirming two more characters for its ever-growind roster of fighters with Raven and newcomer Azucena. Excitement surrounding the game has continued to mount with each new showing, but when exactly can we expect it to launch? Though Bandai Namco has yet to announce a specific release date for the highly anticipated fighter, recent developments might be indicating that an announcement for the same might not be far away.
