Tekken 8 Releasing on January 24th, 2024 – Rumor

Fighting game fans can look forward to an immersive experience in Tekken 8, courtesy of the visuals and Unreal Engine 5. However, there’s even more immersion when playing on PlayStation 5. The PlayStation Blog reports that it will support the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback.

Tekken 8 for PlayStation 5 is the latest entry in the Tekken series, a legendary 3D fighting game series that has sold more than 55 million copies worldwide. The visuals have been completely overhauled from Tekken 7 with all-new, high-resolution playable character models. Small details like the way water droplets run down the characters’ skin and the subtle movements of their hair and muscles are also highlights of the game.

Tekken 8 is flexing new gameplay systems, impressive graphics, and a massive roster ahead of its release.

Publisher Playstack and developer 2Awesome have revealed that AK-xolotl will hit consoles and Switch this September. More specifically, the top-down roguelike shooter about a cute but deadly-with-a-gun axolotl will hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on September 14.

Developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games have announced that The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will be coming to PC (through the Epic Games Store) and PS5 on October 24. The Xbox Series X/S version of the game has been pushed back to early 2024.

The game is coming exclusively to PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam®. Hyper Light Breaker early access release has been pushed back to 2024, Heart Machine and Gearbox Publishing have confirmed. Originally, Hyper Light Breaker’s early access was due to be in early 2023, and this was then pushed back to the autumn of 2023. While there has been a further delay, a new development update has been released.

Since its humble beginnings in arcades nearly 30 years ago, Namco’s Tekken series has done things a bit differently from the norm while maintaining a sky-high level of quality for mainline games. Today, Bandai Namco announced that the upcoming eighth mainline entry will feature an all-new mode for the franchise – which is saying something given the many modes this series has pioneered over the years. The new arcade quest will allow players to create a new avatar and customize it as much as they want to participate in new challenges to improve their skills. The new trailer didn’t show off a lot of what the flow of the mode will be, but it does seem like it will enable skills to be learned and then tested out in tournaments.
