The latest bundle of games coming to the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium game libraries have been revealed, and it’s time to pull on some body-shaping spandex with superheroes, supervillains and plenty more besides! All of the following games will be available from 19th March 2024.

Insomniac Games has released Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update 1.002.002 on PS5. Now available to download, don’t expect this latest patch to introduce any new major content or features.

New studio Critical Hit Games has announced the noir detective game Nobody Wants To Die for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is set in a future dystopian New York, the year 2329, where immortality is available for those that can afford it, able to swap bodies as they age. Essentially, a bit like Altered Carbon.

Grandia HD Collection is going to be getting released for PS4 and Xbox One on March 26th, GungHo has announced today. The collection, which has been available on Switch and PC, includes Grandia HD and Grandia II HD, but no Grandia III or Grandia Xtreme. Arrowhead has released a fresh update for Helldivers 2, with patch 1.000.102 targeting the rate at which heavy enemies are spawned to help reduce the reliance on the ‘leg meta’ for dealing with Terminid Chargers.

TopSpin 2K25 is going to be launching on April 26th, 2K Games has confirmed. That is unless you buy the Deluxe or Grand Slam editions, which come with three days earlier access.  There has been confirmation of some of the tennis superstars that will be present in the game including Roger Federer, Serena Williams, as well as Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Świątek, and Francis Tiafoe. All in all there will be 24 playable players on TopSpin 2K25 roster.

Grandia HD Collection is going to be getting released for PS4 and Xbox One on March 26th, GungHo has announced today. The collection, which has been available on Switch and PC, includes Grandia HD and Grandia II HD, but no Grandia III or Grandia Xtreme. Nightdive Studios has confirmed the console release date for System Shock Remake, with the game heading to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on May 21st. The game was release for PC in May last year, so console players have been waiting almost a year to get their hands on it.

It shows the planet Jan has crashed on and the large mobile base that will be home. It also shows the scorching sun that would destroy that base if it doesn’t keep moving. Jan cannot keep the base moving alone, but luckily discovers an element called Rapidium, which can clone him.

Sometimes, you have to ask yourself why you’re enjoying Expeditions: A MudRunner Game. Sometimes, you won’t have an answer for it, and sometimes you will. Equal parts excruciating and rewarding, Expeditions tasks you with mostly driving very slowly through places you’re not supposed to drive things. It sounds like a recipe for disaster, and one that’s going to break your teeth along the way thanks to all the rocks that have found their way in there, but it is, in fact, a tasty, wholesome meal of a game, though you’re going to have to chew your way through it from start to finish.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of the prettiest games I think I’ve played. It is an astoundingly good-looking game and one where every step I took through the massive part of the open world I had access to was flawless. Flowing rivers, eerily still lakes, amazing forests, a horrible desert area that killed me off a frustrating number of times, and towns that hustle and bustle with the best of them.

Moomin is one those shows that just sticks in the mind, and is a source of nostalgia. For some that will be due to the books by Tove Jansson,  and for others the animated series that was based on those stories. It’s a series that is wholesome and full of little adventures, with Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley carrying the torch of the books, comics, TV and films into video game form.

The team has already confirmed that there will be no more new islands, more Tems, or new additions to multiplayer. In a lengthy open letter, Crema stated the reasons as to why this is the case, and that there is a new project in development, that is not Temtem: Swarm, nor is it a full on sequel.

Nintendo Switch emulator Yuzu has shut down with immediate effect, as creators Tropic Haze have quickly settled the lawsuit with Nintendo for $2.4 million. Tropic Haze will be shutting down themselves, as well as ending support of their Nintendo 3DS emulator Citra as part of an agreement not to develop Nintendo emulators in future.

A Dune Awakening Direct has been hosted by Funcom today, going into details about its upcoming survival MMO that will be released for PC and consoles. Arrakis is the core setting of Dune Awakening, and it will be a test for all players. The survival of the game starts from the very basic of where to find water and food, to moving upward in the political sphere and trying to survive that. You can watch the full broadcast below.

Microsoft has announced that a new Xbox Partner Preview stream will be taking place this week on Wednesday 6th March at 6PM GMT (1PM ET, 10AM PT). The stream will feature Capcom, EA and Nexon in a 30 minute broadcast with over a dozen new trailers.
