Sonic Superstars Brings Colourful Co-Op to PS5, PS4 This October | Push Square

Every time we see Alan Wake 2 we’re blown away, and this 11 minute demo published by IGN is no exception. Unlike the Gamescom footage, this sequence focuses on second playable protagonist Saga Anderson, and showcases some of her FBI detective skills, as well as general exploration and combat. The atmosphere and overall sense of style is seriously impressive.

It's that time once again, everyone: another cult hit PC indie game is making its way to consoles. PlateUp! is its name, developed by It's Happening and published by Yogscast Games, and it looks sort of like a cross between Overcooked and Diner Dash.

Roblox Corporation will release Roblox for Quest later in September, followed by PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in October, the company announced.

DECAPOLICE, the really cool looking detective RPG that was announced for PS5 and PS4 back in February, will have a relatively big role to play at Tokyo Game Show 2023. Developer Level-5 has announced its games lineup for the event — which takes place from the 21st September — and DECAPOLICE is basically the headline act.

EA Sports has confimed the «first truly next-generation rally game» EA Sports WRC will launch for PS5 on 3rd November 2023. Packing 18 official FIA World Rally Championship locations, 10 current WRC, WRC2, and Junior WRC vehicles, and another 68 classic race cars, lots of new features from the Codemasters-developed title are set to propel the experience into the modern era. Trepang2 is an absolutely mental first-person shooter that released on PC earlier in the year, and now it's coming to PS5 on the 2nd October. Playing as a super solider with a seemingly insatiable hunger for blood and guts, there's a clear emphasis on completely over-the-top gameplay. You can slow time, pluck helpless enemies off their feet, and generally just massacre anything that stands in your way. Trepang2 was well received on Steam, where its relatively fresh brand of chaos won over a lot of players.

Tokyo Game Show is coming back with a bang this year, and it looks like there’ll be a lot to look forward to throughout the extended weekend. Scheduled to start on 21st September through 24th September, organisers the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association have been billing this as the biggest TGS in some time, with the country’s iconic Makuhari Messe being filled to capacity this time.

Bandai Namco has finally slapped a release date on Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections. The arena fighter, which is basically a mashup of previous Ultimate Ninja Storm games and some new Boruto stuff, will feature over 130 playable characters at launch, making this one of the largest rosters to ever grace an anime-based title.

In a fantastic pairing of two excellent quality, tonally-similar properties, a free crossover event between Massive Monster's Cult of the Lamb and Klei's Don't Starve Together is now live on PlayStation platforms.

Anticipated sequel Ghostrunner 2 now has a confirmed release date on PS5. The adrenaline-fueled action-platformer will dash to Sony's current-gen console on the 26th October, and you can get a better look at its brand of cyberpunk violence in the new gameplay trailer, embedded above.

We finally have a release date for The Invincible. Based on «the motifs» of Polish author Stanisław Lem’s 1964 novel of the same name, this project was first revealed back in 2021, and has always looked pretty promising. Now, the mysterious sci-fi narrative adventure will finally touch down on PS5 soon. It's scheduled to arrive on 6th November 2023.

Sea of Stars is now just one week away from launch, and to celebrate, Sabotage Studio has released a brand new trailer. It shows off a fair bit of how the game will play, with footage of battles, exploration, fishing, cooking, levelling up, and more all thrown into the mix. Perhaps most noteworthy is the introduction of a new playable party member: Seraï.
