It's that time once again, everyone: another cult hit PC indie game is making its way to consoles. PlateUp! is its name, developed by It's Happening and published by Yogscast Games, and it looks sort of like a cross between Overcooked and Diner Dash.

EA Sports has confimed the «first truly next-generation rally game» EA Sports WRC will launch for PS5 on 3rd November 2023. Packing 18 official FIA World Rally Championship locations, 10 current WRC, WRC2, and Junior WRC vehicles, and another 68 classic race cars, lots of new features from the Codemasters-developed title are set to propel the experience into the modern era. Sony’s previously announced Remote Play portable for PS5, the PS Portal, will officially launch on 15th November – as dated overnight. Pre-orders are open now in select countries via the platform holder’s own direct-to-consumer storefront, PS Direct. The manufacturer says pre-orders will open at other retailers on 29th September.

according to newly registered ESRB ratings, it looks like Falcom's excellent JRPGs, Trails of Cold Steel 3 and Trails of Cold Steel 4, are coming to PS5. The two sequels, which released on western PS4s in 2019 and 2020 respectively, are published by NIS America outside of Japan — and we all know how much that company loves its PS5 ports.

In a fantastic pairing of two excellent quality, tonally-similar properties, a free crossover event between Massive Monster's Cult of the Lamb and Klei's Don't Starve Together is now live on PlayStation platforms.

Tekken 8 got a bit of an information blowout during Gamescom Opening Night Live. The title's latest trailer confirms a whole bunch of returning characters, and lifts the curtain on a brand new single player mode that takes inspiration from the arcade scene. In it, you'll create your own cartoony avatar and fight your way to the top. It all takes place in a hub-like arcade centre, and AI learning will apparently be utilised to keep your battles interesting. Cool!

Anticipated sequel Ghostrunner 2 now has a confirmed release date on PS5. The adrenaline-fueled action-platformer will dash to Sony's current-gen console on the 26th October, and you can get a better look at its brand of cyberpunk violence in the new gameplay trailer, embedded above.

Confirming a leak from earlier in the year, Sonic Superstars will indeed be heading our way on 17th October, 2023. Flippin' heck, October is busy.

We finally have a release date for The Invincible. Based on «the motifs» of Polish author Stanisław Lem’s 1964 novel of the same name, this project was first revealed back in 2021, and has always looked pretty promising. Now, the mysterious sci-fi narrative adventure will finally touch down on PS5 soon. It's scheduled to arrive on 6th November 2023.

HoYoverse, the developer of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, shared an update on its next game Zenless Zone Zero during Gamescom Opening Night Live – but there was no date or confirmation of consoles. The self-described urban action RPG showed off a bunch of characters and environmental art, including several arcade-style minigames you’ll presumably be able to play to pass the time.

Mandragora is a 2.5D sidescrolling action RPG set in a dark fantasy world, featuring a painterly art style and a stamina-based combat system. It dodge-rolls its way onto PS5 in 2024.
