Tokyo Game Show is coming back with a bang this year, and it looks like there’ll be a lot to look forward to throughout the extended weekend. Scheduled to start on 21st September through 24th September, organisers the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association have been billing this as the biggest TGS in some time, with the country’s iconic Makuhari Messe being filled to capacity this time.
In fact, the CESA is touting over 770 exhibitors across over 2,600 booths. According to a press release, a total of 1,762 games will be on display, and while you should probably expect a lot of filler among those ranks – well, that’s still a huge number of games. Even if you’re not in attendance, however, a full streaming schedule has been revealed as follows:
21st September
22nd September
23rd September
24th September

A true PlayStation veteran, Sammy's covered the world of PS gaming for years, with an enormous Trophy count to prove it. He also likes tennis games way more than you.
No Nintendo or Sony events is bizarre. Feels like Xbox is literally everywhere right now.
@Powerplay94 Sony and Nintendo haven't had an TGS Stream in like....ever. Both never had one there as far as I remember
@Powerplay94 both have their own events and have done for a long time now. Microsoft is there because they need the market. However if they had ashtray lost the console wars then why bother…or was that just a lie from them, as always!?
@number1024 Third place is still better than giving up. It's not about the winning but the taking part!
@Enigk even when it cost millions (billions) of $$$????
@Powerplay94 Doesn't really matter though does it as xbox will still sell poorly in Japan no matter how many events they attend, only way they will do well is if they get big Japanese games as exclusives but Japanese devs won't take that risk yet.
@PSme I guess getting people to use PCs is also a win for MS. As long as it is their ecosystem.
@number1024 They did recently hire a former Japan Sony exec to build partnerships with Japanese studios so I guess they are becoming a lot more aggressive.
@MagisterMagi You're right but I guess with Sony being so silent it feels even more noticeable. I hope there is a SOP before TGS like last year.
@Powerplay94 Nintendo also had a Direct in September for the last years
Really hoping for a huge Monster Hunter announcement.
If Sega, square-enix, capcom and heck… even hoyoverse are there, then I'm good. If Sony were there it'd just be «here look, Spiderman 2 is coming… even in Japanese!»
Gonna be there on the final
