According to a new leak, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet could be adding a new Mythical Pokemon in a future update. Pokemon fans could be forgiven if they assumed that Nintendo and Game Freak had already closed the book on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. After all, the games released back in 2022 and have already had over a year of support through updates and substantial DLC expansions.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC released in two parts. The first was The Teal Mask, which takes place in Kitakami and featured a slew of brand-new Pokemon for players to catch along with returning favorites from previous generations. The second was The Indigo Disk, which had players visit the Blueberry Academy in the Unova region. The DLC was followed up by a special Epilogue, which focused on a brand-new Mythical Pokemon called Pecharunt.
Pecharunt's debut in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was believed to be the end of support for the games, but a new leak suggests that even more is on the way. According to the latest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks, shared by Centro Leaks and seemingly originating from Riddler Khu, a new Mythical Pokemon is on the way for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This new Pokemon will supposedly be featured in the next animated Pokemon movie. Additional details are not available at the time of this writing.
With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet already releasing an Epilogue update, some may have assumed that this new Mythical Pokemon, whatever it may be, would instead be for future Pokemon games. New main series Pokemon games come out on a fairly regular basis, and one has to imagine that the Generation 10 Pokemon games are well underway at this point. However, it seems that there are still some adventures yet to finish in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The leaks didn't reveal when the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Mythical will be unveiled to the masses, but the obvious time to do it would be Tuesday, February 27. February 27 is Pokemon Day, which often includes a presentation with brand-new looks at upcoming Pokemon projects. Perhaps the new Pokemon anime movie will be announced at the event and fans will be introduced to the new Mythical, but that's just speculation at this time. Like with any leak, fans should take all of this information with a grain of salt, but hopefully concrete answers come to light sooner rather than later.

Following the Flying Blaziken raid, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet rolled out the 7-Star Ice Empoleon Tera Raid Event. With only hours left in Round 2, this is your last chance to catch this formidable foe.
One Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player was recently amused to realize that The Indigo Disk's Savanna Plaza is shaped like a giant frying pan. While their observation qualifies as one of those things that cannot be unseen after being pointed out, it would appear that this neat little detail went unnoticed by many Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans up until recently.
Though two Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera raid battles are already scheduled throughout the middle of February, trainers will soon have more to do, as Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge join the lineup. These upcoming Tera raid battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will make these version-exclusive critters available to players regardless of the game played.
Following the January Paradox Tera raid event, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet confirmed that the next Seven-Star Tera Raid battle event would pit trainers against Empoleon the Unrivaled. Though starter Pokemon from the Sinnoh region can be caught in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the raid marks the first time a Sinnoh starter has been featured as a Tera raid boss.
While Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are considered much more bug-free now than they used to be, a terrifying encounter with a wild Pokemon shared online proves that even some of the most chaotic glitches remain intact after more than a year since the games were released. While Pokemon Scarlet and Violet represent a slightly different take on the traditional formula in terms of gameplay, the Gen 9 games' lackluster graphics, poor performance, and relatively frequent bugs have substantially marred their reputation in the eyes of the wider gaming community.
The public criticism aimed at Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will influence future games in the franchise, an industry insider has said. This claim is likely to be welcome news for the vocal section of the fans who repeatedly expressed skepticism about whether their criticism of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has been heard.
The Pokemon franchise has never really been known for coming anywhere close to pushing the envelope with its technical accomplishments, but recent years in particular have seen a number of the series’ mainline instalments being let down by the poor technical state they have launched in, from Pokmon Sword and Shield to Pokemon Legends: Arceus to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The latter in particular launched in such poor condition that Nintendo was forced to issue a public apology.

Apple plans to introduce significant changes to the iOS App Store, allowing users to download apps from third-party sources. The company is reaching a deadline imposed by the EU under the Digital Markets Act, which requires the company to allow the installation of apps from outside the App Store. The company has until March 6 to implement the app sideloading, and iOS 17.4 appears to be the update that will bring the necessary changes.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are releasing a new mass outbreak event, giving players a chance to get their hands on some Pokemon which are quite hard to find in the wild. It's been quite an eventful month for the games, with the developers releasing the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Epilogue DLC, alongside a new 7-star Tera Raid featuring Blaziken.
With the seven-star Blaziken Tera raids finished, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet revealed a new five-star Tera raid against two Paradox Pokemon to tide trainers over. Flutter Mane and Iron Jugulis will respectively be available for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players to face, and each will bring their share of attacks to the fold.
