Following the January Paradox Tera raid event, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet confirmed that the next Seven-Star Tera Raid battle event would pit trainers against Empoleon the Unrivaled. Though starter Pokemon from the Sinnoh region can be caught in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the raid marks the first time a Sinnoh starter has been featured as a Tera raid boss.

Flutter Mane and Iron Jugulis will respectively be available for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players to face, and each will bring their share of attacks to the fold.

Building upon ’s structure with one big change would herald a new era for the franchise. Every new Generation has built upon its predecessors with both mechanical improvements and brand-new features, and Gen 9’s are no different.
