First announced three years ago now, MachineGames’ Indiana Jones is one of the biggest first party titles Xbox has in the works right now, and soon, the game is going to be fully unveiled. Microsoft has set a new Xbox Developer_Direct for January 18, where the company has confirmed it will be unveiling Indiana Jones, including its first gameplay trailer and new details coming from MachineGames. In addition to that, it seems like a launch date will also be revealed- and it’s allegedly closer than you think.
As previously rumored, Microsoft today announced that they’ll be holding their first Xbox Developer Direct on January 18. For those unfamiliar with the format, Developer Directs tend to focus more deeply on a smaller number of titles, rather than spamming a million announcements, and Microsoft has confirmed the upcoming show will include Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Avowed, and… the new Indiana Jones title from MachineGames. The first two games were expected, as they’ve already been confirmed for a 2024 release, but Indiana Jones was a bit of a surprise. The Indy game was announced back in early 2021, but we’ve heard very little about the game since.

We've had no official word on a PS5 Pro, but that hasn't stopped rumours about a souped-up model from circulating. Back in 2021 the rather unexpected news leaked that an Xbox-exclusive Wu-Tang Clan action RPG, codenamed “Project Shaolin,” was in the works. Back then, we got word that it would support 4-player co-op, and have replayable dungeons and other challenges, as well as seasonal content, almost making it sound like Wu-Tang-themed version of Destiny. That said, we haven’t heard anything about the project since those initial leaks. Was it all a figment of our collective imaginations?
We're on the eve of this year's edition of The Game Awards (TGA 2023), and host Geoff Keighley took some time to share a few details in advance.

It has resulted in GTA 5 becoming the second best-selling video game of all time and has raised the expectations from the next entry into the series, GTA 6. If Rockstar's last game, Red Dead Redemption 2, is anything to go by, GTA 6 could very well be the best game ever released.

GTA 6 leak: After years of uncertainty, Rockstar Games last year confirmed the development of Grand Theft Auto 6 or GTA 6, the highly anticipated sequel to GTA 5. This confirmation came after a leaker posted 90 early development videos of the game on YouTube on social media. While these were shortly taken down after a DMCA strike, it was enough to excite long-time fans of the GTA series, especially since there was a complete information blackout. As seen in the leaked videos, GTA 6 is expected to feature some next-generation mechanics that could be considered ground-breaking and could take the gameplay experience to the next level. Check out the top 5 features of GTA 6 seen in the leaked footage.
The Assassin’s Creed franchise’s historical settings have always been the franchise’s backbones, but it hasn’t quite enjoyed the same sort of success with its modern-day story, which has often been criticized by players for being too convolution, or simply not engaging enough. However, with the next game in the series, Ubisoft might be looking to shake things up on that front in intriguing fashion.

Ever since the big GTA 6 leak last year where 90 early developmental gameplay videos surfaced, fans have become increasingly impatient about its release date. GTA 5 debuted in 2013 and has gone on to become the 2nd best-selling video game of all time. Despite its amazing action-packed gameplay which players have enjoyed throughout the last decade, fans have repeatedly asked Rockstar Games for any information about its sequel, GTA 6. Their wishes were fulfilled last year when a user named ‘teapotuberhacker' leaked the developmental videos, after which Rockstar issued a statement confirming the development of GTA 6, without hinting at a release timeline. However, analysts have now predicted the GTA 6 release date.
Ever since its official announcement in February 2022, Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has become one of the most anticipated games of recent years. That is a Saturday, so it is unlikely it would be selected as the game's launch date, but it is possible the event follows a release on Friday, October 27th.
Throughout 2022, we were inundated with endless rumours about the mythical Nintendo Switch Pro. It was slated to be a big improvement over the original Nintendo Switch and its OLED upgrade a few years later. However, with the release of the Steam Deck and the imminent release of many other handheld entries into the market, the development work on the Switch Pro was abruptly ended. The reason was simple enough in that it couldn’t match the hardware specifications and performances of the competition, most notably that of 4K gaming. With the Pro firmly put to bed in January this year, rumours quickly began to surface of the revival of the next major Nintendo release – the Nintendo Switch 2.

Tom Henderson has shared a new rumor about the Nintendo Switch 2, that really adds fuel to the fire about just how powerful the console will be.

While Far Cry games used to be known for their innovation and edgy storylines, it’s safe to say the series has fallen into a bit of a rut, with Far Cry 6 in particular feeling very by-the-book. Thankfully, it seems like series creators Ubisoft Toronto may be cooking up something more unique for Far Cry 7.
A report by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson claimed earlier this year that Ubisoft was working on two new Far Cry titles– Far Cry 7, set to be a single player experience, and a standalone multiplayer extraction shooter set in the Alaskan wilderness. Now, Henderson has published another new report in which he has revealed potential new details on the former’s story and narrative setup.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage launches next month, but Ubisoft has a lot more stabby fun in the works. As they’ve announced, in addition to the more stripped-down Mirage, there are two other major AC titles currently in production – Assassin’s Creed Codename Red (an open-world RPG-style game set in Feudal Japan from Ubisoft Quebec) and Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe (a darker take on the series focused on European witch hunts during the Renaissance from Ubisoft Montreal). Rumor has it that Assassin’s Creed Red may be arriving as soon as next year, and reliable Ubisoft insider Tom Henderson has provided a few interesting fresh details about the game.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is less than a month away from launch now, but while it’s being billed as a smaller and more focused experience, Ubisoft currently also has the franchise’s next big open world RPG instalment in the works. Assassin’s Creed Codename Red will finally take the series to feudal Japan, and an article published by Tom Henderson on Insider Gaming has provided some potential new details on what to expect from the game.
Since its debut in 1997, the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series has become one of the world's most popular game franchises, with a player base of millions. It offers a unique open-world fast-paced gameplay that is filled with action, adventure, exploration, as well as RPG elements. While there have been 7 installments in the Grand Theft Auto series so far, none have captured the world's attention like the latest entry, GTA 5, which was released over a decade ago in 2013. Although it still remains ever-popular, players have long been asking Rockstar Games about Grand Theft Auto 6 or GTA 6.

It now seems that the multiplayer maps are all remastered from Modern Warfare 2 (2009).

The development history of Call of Duty Modern Warfare III (2023) has been peppered with contradictions and question marks. It began in February 2022 with a credible report from Bloomberg's Jason Schreier that this year would be the first one since 2004 without a new, premium, annual mainline release in the Call of Duty franchise. That report suggested the void would be filled with DLC for Modern Warfare II (2022) and a free-to-play game from Treyarch.
Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out later this year, and despite earlier rumors about it being DLC for Modern Warfare 2, the publisher assures it’s a $70 release. However, Insider Gaming and PlayStation Size on Twitter recently took a “deep dive” into the code. The sequel’s content is seemingly being delivered via add-ons to last year’s title.

STALKER 2 is one of those games that required extreme patience from its fans. The sequel to the cult survival horror first-person shooter game was first announced in 2010 for a 2012 release date, but GSC Game World was dissolved in late 2011, seemingly putting an end to the project. The Ukrainian studio was resurrected three years later, in December 2014, though they decided to work on Cossacks 3 first.

Now a new report has surfaced online suggesting that Sony is also bringing out a PlayStation 5 Pro model next year. Of course, neither of the mentioned models has yet to be officially revealed.
The rumored PlayStation 5 Slim model is apparently not going to be slim at all, as it will only feature different dimensions than the current model, which won't necessarily be smaller.
During Microsoft’s trial with the US Federal Trade Commission over its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, it said that it expects Sony to release a Slim version of the PS5 later this year. It will allegedly cost $399.99, though no official announcement has been made.
