The latest trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime is out, and with it comes four new transformations that its titular heroine will be able to utilize. While Princess Peach usually plays a supporting role in Mario’s adventures, Nintendo announced that the monarch of the Mushroom Kingdom would be stepping into the spotlight in her own video game. Princess Peach: Showtime tasks Peach with saving the Sparkle Theater from the Wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch, using a variety of special costumed transformations and assistance from the theater’s guardian, Stella.

A free Princess Peach: Showtime! demo is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop, Nintendo announced Wednesday. Nintendo surprise launched the demo ahead of the game’s March 22 release date.

The life of a royal affords one plenty of leisure time — opportunities to pick up figure skating, underwater singing, and mighty morphin’, apparently. In the latest look at Princess Peach: Showtime!, we also learn that the Mushroom Kingdom’s leading lady has a penchant for thievery. And perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day, Princess Peach appears more than capable of stealing hearts. She’s good at everything!

Princess Peach: Showtime! is not only going to let the eponymous protagonist be the star of her own game – something that doesn’t happen too often – it’s also going to let her do that in many different forms. That will happen through the transformation mechanic, which will allow Peach to transform into several different versions of herself, each with her own unique mechanics and abilities.

Nintendo has revealed pink Joy-Con controllers for the Switch alongside a new Princess Peach: Showtime gameplay trailer. Fittingly, these new Joy-Con are pastel pink, just like Peach's signature dress. They will be available for purchase at select retailers and Nintendo's online store for a limited time, although Nintendo did not mention exactly when players can buy them.
