Spider-Man 2 will be chock full of new and interesting suits for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales to wear while they swing around New York, but the full range of suits on offer is still unknown. Thankfully, developer Insomniac Games has given us a first look at two new suits that will be included in the game when it launches, those being the Brooklyn 2099 suit and the brand-new Kumo suit.

Video game voice actor Ken Lally has died at the age of 52 on Tuesday, October 10. At time of writing, the circumstances of his passing haven't been revealed, but it was confirmed by actor Eva La Dare, who worked with him on Capcom's Resident Evil 5.

Insomniac Games has already boasted about the wide collection of suits available in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. But launch is just the beginning for Peter and Miles’ fashion tour, as several post-launch cosmetics are coming from an unlikely source.

However, fans on Reddit have decided that this is too long to wait for something to come out. So what did they do? Well, they were able to capture the first hour of the game somehow, and they put it online. And then they were copyright-struck, so they reuploaded it somewhere else! And…then they were struck down again. It’s a very vicious cycle, but you can applaud their effort, at least!

Sony has announced that PS5 cloud streaming will be launching for all PS Plus Premium subscribers later this month, giving remote access to full fat PlayStation 5 games from the PS Plus Game Catalog, support for Game Trials, as well as a selection of games that are owned by members.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced plans to launch its cloud streaming service on PS5 later this month.

Sony is launching cloud streaming for the PS5 console, later this month. The feature will be available to PS Plus Premium — highest-tier — members only, letting them stream select Game Catalog titles like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, and more, without having to download or actually own them. Unfortunately, it's getting a staggered rollout, first launching in Japan, Europe, and North American regions, promising ‘hundreds' of PS5 games in the future. The company confirmed the addition and testing of cloud streaming in June, as part of its pivot towards the technology, further solidified by its PlayStation Portal handheld device.

Sony revealed more details about one of PlayStation Plus’s upcoming features: Cloud streaming for PlayStation 5 users. With this feature, users can play certain games without having to download them. It’s available only to those using PlayStation Plus’s Premium tier. The cloud streaming option will also feature options for resolutions and audio.

If you’re a PlayStation Plus Premium subscriber, you’re getting a new perk in the ability to stream select native PS5 games starting this month. Cloud streaming will be available for supported titles within the PS Plus Game Catalog, game trials, and personal user libraries. 

PlayStation Premium members will soon be able to play PS5 games without downloading them, as streaming is being added to the highest tier of the PlayStation Plus service. This streaming will start with a limited selection of titles, but the library will grow over time and add new games over the coming years.

Earlier this year, Sony promised they would launch PS5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium members sometime this year, and now they’ve revealed the new feature will be arriving this month. Streaming games to PS4 or PC won’t be supported yet, so some may question the utility, but it will allow you to keep SDD space clear while testing out PS Plus titles. The streaming tech also sounds fairly advanced, allowing you to play at up to 4K and 60fps with HDR. Here’s a rundown of key features…

Today, we’re finding that PlayStation 5 cloud streaming is finally coming this month to those who are subscribed to the PlayStation Plus Premium membership tier. Now, it will be a rollout to different markets worldwide, and only supported titles will be available to stream. However, we can likely expect that list to continue to grow with new exciting releases. 

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers get their monthly dose of new games on Oct. 17, and while there is one acclaimed masterpiece of a role-playing game on the list (no, it’s not Baldur’s Gate 3, sadly), the expected addition of The Last of Us Part 2 has not come to pass. PlayStation 5 game streaming will also launch for Premium subscribers later in the month.

Several elements of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 have leaked online ahead of the sequel's release next week, including boss fights and suits. 

Spider-Man: Miles Morales opens with a smooth rumble of the Dual Sense controller and into 125th Street subway station, Harlem. The follow-up to 2018’s Spider-Man, knows exactly where it needs to place Miles to set the stage for a world that celebrates its title character’s culture. As Miles sets foot into the neighborhood he will soon fight to protect, we immediately see what sets this Spider-Man apart. Effectively known as the “Main Street” of Harlem, this neighborhood is known as a center of commerce, brimming with cultural significance. It’s where we first see Miles Morales take center stage. We’re greeted with the ice and snow-packed streets of New York at Christmas, and a thumping beat that Miles bops his head to. There is a sense of community and culture that Insomniac has taken meticulous care to craft.

October is here and the month brings a non-stop train of game releases. It is perhaps the busiest month in gaming this year, with major titles fighting for space in the tight window of four weeks. Kicking off things on October 5 is Assassin's Creed Mirage, Ubisoft's next chapter in the long-running assassin's saga. This time, the game opts to shrink its scope and return to its roots with a more stealth and assassinations-based approach. The last three AC titles had adhered to a Witcher 3-style expansive RPG style, drawing criticism for open-world bloat.

My most anticipated game for this year is almost here with Spider-Man 2, and to help celebrate the launch, Sony Interactive Entertainment is proud to debut and share its new cinematic spot for the latest adventure in the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise. Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, will face the ultimate test of strength inside and outside the mask as they fight to save the city, each other and the ones they love.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is one of the biggest games left in 2023 that fans are dying to get their hands on. A portion of sales is already guaranteed based on the name alone, but the rest will flock when its quality is realised.
