Helpful Dragon's Dogma 2 Mod Addresses One of the Game's Biggest Problems

YouTuber Andrew Levitt has perfectly remade the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer in Miami. The official reveal trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 rocked the gaming world when it debuted in December 2023, garnering millions of views in mere hours and skyrocketing Rockstar Games' YouTube channel subscriber count to 10 million. The 90-second trailer also became the most liked gaming tweet of all time on Twitter.

Overwatch 2 has just released its big blowout trailer for Season 10, named Venture Forth, which shares the name of the game's newest DPS hero, Venture. Players recently had the chance to go hands-on with Venture for a trial weekend, giving the Overwatch team an opportunity to see how the new hero performs live in-game. Venture will also be the firstnew Overwatch 2 hero to be unlocked automatically for everyone without requiring them to purchase the Battle Pass.

One Starfield modder has blended Bethesda's space-faring RPG with another mega-popular sci-fi franchise, Star Wars, by adding Greedo to the game as a companion. Since its September launch, Starfield has seen a large community of modders creating an array of interesting and useful mods. Some of these mods aim to improve some of Starfield's shortcomings, like adding ammo crafting and a planet resource database. Others add cool crossovers to the game, such as Halo's Master Chief armor or a variety of aliens from the Star Wars universe.

A developer at the Cyberpunk 2077 studio, CD Projekt Red, has playfully mocked Ubisoft's use of the term «Quadruple-A» to describe its latest release, Skull and Bones. Inspired by the exceptional naval combat that debuted in Assassin's Creed 4: Blag Flag, Ubisoft's Skull and Bones attempts to refine that system in a shared-world live service experience. Despite Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot boasting Skull and Bones as a «AAAA» game, its February launch left a lot to be desired, so much so that its release gave Assassin's Creed 4 an unexpected spike in player count.

A new mod for Starfield allows players to craft their own ammunition, a feature that was strangely omitted from the RPG's otherwise deep crafting system. Bethesda's latest RPG, Starfield, launched in September 2023 to solid reception, with the game's ship and outpost building features serving as the main source of creativity for clever fans over the months since release.

Abubakar Salim, the actor who portrayed Bayek of Siwa, protagonist of Ubisoft's acclaimed Assassin's Creed Origins, has expressed interest in bringing Bayek back for a follow-up sequel. As the first ever Xbox Series X game to be revealed, Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 was announced alongside the unveiling of the Series X at the 2019 Game Awards and is the direct sequel of 2017's hit cinematic adventure game, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.

Ahead of Season 3 going live on April 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has unveiled all the new skins and bundles that'll become freshly available in its battle pass and store. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the team behind the longstanding Like a Dragon franchise, has expressed interest in remaking Yakuza 3, the franchise's third mainline entry that originally released in 2009. The studio had previously remade the first two games of Sega's celebrated Yakuza series, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2, in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Ever since, fans have been eager for confirmation of a potential Yakuza 3 remake.

Exactly one year after its successful 2023 launch, Dead Island 2 is finally looking to make its arrival on Steam later this month, on April 22. This news comes just weeks after Dead Island 2 revealed key details of its second story DLC, titled SoLA, a southern LA music festival romp set for April 17.
