Traveling to Miami, the American city Grand Theft Auto's Vice City is inspired by, Levitt captures the real world locations that were seen in the trailer. Since a handful of shots in the trailer are based off real world events, Levitt used the original footage of those events for his trailer. Levitt's recreation also uses the original trailer's audio, as well as the now iconic track «Love Is A Long Road» by Tom Petty, a song that saw extra attention on music streaming platforms after the trailer's December debut.
Andrew Levitt also uploaded a 12-minute behind the scenes video showing his adventure through Miami to capture the 38 unique shots of the real world locations that inspired the trailer.
