Ahead of Season 3 going live on April 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has unveiled all the new skins and bundles that'll become freshly available in its battle pass and store. Modern Warfare 3 is coming off its second season, which saw four new multiplayer maps added in Stash House, Departues, Vista and Das Haus, along with a slew of crossover characters from popular franchises like The Walking Dead, Warhammer 40,000, Godzilla x Kong, and more.
Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players can look forward to a lot more coming as part of Season 3. Multiplayer fans can anticipate six new 6v6 maps in total, including another remade Call of Duty: Vanguard map, Growhouse, formerly known as Sphere. Two of these six maps, Checkpoint and Grime, will be added mid-season, while 6 Star, Tanked, and Emergency will be available from day one. Additionally, the Capture the Flag and One in the Chamber modes will come to Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, with two new modes, Minefield and Escort, set to follow later in Season 3.
Call of Duty has unveiled the entire Season 3 battle pass, which is set to go live on April 3. Purchasing Season 3's BlackCell Pass will grant players the new animated Stasis operator along with their «All That Glitters» weapon blueprint. As for the battle pass itself, players can instantly unlock world-famous rapper Snoop Dogg and notorious Modern Warfare villain Makarov. The instant reward tier also grants players the BAS-B «Hope Breaker» Battle Rifle blueprint, «D-O-Double-G» tactical pet finishing move, and a 10% battle pass boost.
As always, this new Season 3 battle pass is filled with even more operator skins to unlock. Swagger's Akuma skin unlocks in Sector 2, Ripper's Corsair skin in Sector 5, Doc's Cardinal skin in Sector 7, Riptide's Scalpel skin in Sector 10, a new operator named Banshee unlocks in Sector 13, Corso's Cask skin unlocks in Sector 16, and Byline's Saboteur skin is available in Sector 18. Players who buy Call of Duty's BlackCell pass will gain additional black and gold variants of all these battle pass skins, including the Snoop Dawg BlackCell skin for Snoop Dogg, which replaces his head with that of a German Shepard's wearing sunglasses. Additionally, new crossover operators like Cheech & Chong and three new Godzilla x Kong bundles, Shimo, Skar King, and Godzilla, will hit the store during Season 3 as well.
With Season 3 going live on April 3, Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players have a lot to look forward to, whether it be six new multiplayer maps, the new Zombies mission, or the return of Warzone's Rebirth Island. It'll be interesting to see what else Call of Duty has in store in a couple of weeks for the mid-season Reload.
