The latest season for Overwatch 2 finally allows players to permanently unlock and play as Venture, but fans have noticed that despite this new character playing a central role in the latest season, it seems they'll be getting an extremely slim pool of skins to choose from — for now, at least. Though Overwatch 2's Season 10: Venture Forth event does pack a long list of interesting skins for a wide variety of heroes, it appears these come at the cost of cosmetics for the drill-wielding damage hero.
First revealed at the end of March and more recently made playable during a limited-time public playtest for the character, Venture is the 40th hero to come to the world of Overwatch 2. As an enthusiastic archaeologist, Venture's kit consists of a number of abilities based on the Smart Excavator drill weapon they carry, including the ability to safely burrow under the ground for easy repositioning and dash forward to deal a powerful knockback melee attack to enemies. Along with passive abilities that both empower quick melee attacks as well as provide temporary shields upon using abilities, Venture's kit is notably reminiscent of Doomfist's original ability set. Venture is also the first playable non-binary character to come to Overwatch 2.
Venture was considerably well-received by players during their playtest period, though soon-to-be Venture mains in Overwatch 2 may be disappointed by the character's available cosmetic options. While fans have gotten a glimpse at a couple of skins that Venture will come with once they roll out with Season 10, it appears that the Season 10 battle pass itself doesn't include any new skins for the hero. This marks the first instance of a new hero not receiving a skin with their debut season's pass, and some fans are worried that Venture may not even see any legendary skins until a future season. A post shared online by Snack-in-Mech sparked some community discussion regarding this topic, and shows off a couple of skins that Venture will be getting upon release.
Season 10 will feature a variety of interesting new skins for various heroes thanks to the limited-time Mirrorwatch event that will play out in Overwatch 2between April 23rd and May 13th. This event is based on the premise of an alternate universe where Overwatch agents such as Tracer and Reinhardt are instead members of the antagonistic Talon organization, while Talon operatives such as Doomfist and Widowmaker appear as Overwatch members.
Along with new skins to match, some of these characters will also have their abilities switched up slightly in the new mode. While Overwatch 2 Season 10's battle pass may not have much in store for Venture, it certainly does have a lot to offer overall, and will include earnable

Though he has only recently joined the fight in Overwatch 2, Mauga is a hero that fans had been aware of for years prior to his appearance as a playable character, and some of his early concepts still have the potential to appear in the game as skins for the Samoan tank hero. Though Mauga still hasn't got all that many cosmetics available to him in Overwatch 2 due to his relatively recent addition to the game, many fans feel this is all the more reason Blizzard should consider giving him some new outfits based on the character's popular early concepts.

Gamers all over the world will likely recognize the cake from Minecraft, and while they're certainly not the first to do it, one fan of the game has brought the game's cake to life by baking it in the real world. Minecraft's cake is just one example of the dozens upon dozens of food options available to survival mode players, though it stands out as a food item that can be placed as a block in the world — making it just as useful a decorative item to spruce up a home as it is a method of keeping the hunger bar full.
Minecraft is packed with awesome things to discover, but a clip shared by a member of the community highlights their encounter with what seems to be an unidentified flying object, at least at first glance. Even after more than a decade since the game's official release, fans of Minecraft continue to stumble upon and document interesting and often extremely rare occurrences in the game, ranging from the discoveries of extremely small or rare biomes to procedurally generated structures spawning in bizarre, unexpected locations.

This change is a monumental one for Destiny 2's weapon sandbox overall, and while many fans of the game were certain a change like this would never come, it seems as though the countless weapons from the game's first few years will actually be getting the chance to shine again.

Following the introduction of a whole new currency to Overwatch 2 with the release of its tenth season, one fan of the game shares an odd bug which causes a spray item to cost Mythic Prisms rather than credits, resulting in the usually inexpensive cosmetic item surpassing the cost of an entire Mythic skin. Overwatch 2's new Mythic Prism currency allows players to purchase any of the Mythic skins introduced to the game so far, and can be obtained from the premium battle pass as well as via optional microtransactions.
