Fortnite players are making MMO raid encounters now, and this one is giving Final Fantasy 14 vibes

Final Fantasy 16 will receive two installments of paid DLC, but that’s not all. At the Voices of Valisthea Panel at PAX West 2023, producer Naoki Yoshida officially announced that a PC version is in development.

Black Eye Games, the developer of the medieval MMO Gloria Victis, has announced that it will shut down the game and close its doors at the conclusion of the current season. The studio said the shutdown is «mostly due to financial reasons,» but also that the effort of keeping the game running and growing has also left the team exhausted and burned out.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon has been out for only a few days, but an intrepid group of aesthetically minded AC pilots have embraced the game’s extensive paint and decal editors to make sharp-dressed mechs. Ubisoft has a few franchises they can count on to get attention for them, one being Far Cry. To that end, Ubisoft has revealed that they have promoted Sandra Warren to the role of Vice President of the brand, a true honor.

As we all know, if a video game is beloved, it will tend to get lots of attention from its developers/publishers and “blossom” in ways that gamers will typically appreciate. When Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was released on the Nintendo Gamecube in 2003, it was hailed as one of the best games in the franchise. With its unique look, fun story, tight gameplay mechanics, and more, gamers and critics fell in love with it. The game would get spinoffs and a remaster to showcase how good it was. However, many are stunned the game never got a true sequel.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will also be out on the previous-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles, despite rumours suggesting otherwise. Confusion about a last-gen launch arose when TheGamingRevolution, a COD content creator tweeted out a picture from the Microsoft store, which only showed the Xbox Series S/X logo — unprecedented for the franchise, but makes perfect sense when considering that every major studio is slowly trying to take advantage of the newer consoles' hardware. However, with the game's teaser claiming that both PlayStation generations would be getting a release, it felt unfair to the green team. As it turned out, it was just an error on the Microsoft store, which has since been updated to include Xbox One as well.
