Despite the new DLC including a phenomenal storyline and lots of new content for , it sadly did not include any romance options among its newly introduced NPCs. The spy-thriller DLC has many hours worth of exciting missions to do, new weapons and perks to play around with, and lots of new characters with engaging backstories in both the main DLC campaign and the many side gigs. 's Dogtown District is home to some colorful characters, and the major people that V interacts with for the story have a depth to their personalities that would be fun to be able to explore even more.

In Cyberpunk 2077, there are few problems that can’t be solved with either a bullet, a blade, or a colorfully worded variation of “F you.” In Phantom Liberty, the first and only expansion for the game, developer CD Projekt Red throws a curveball at the player in the form of an optional final mission that channels inspiration from one of the greatest survival-horror games of the eighth console generation.

While CD Projekt Red is sadly moving on from Cyberpunk 2077 to focus on the sequel, meaning we won't be getting any more expansions or significant updates, there's still a wee bit of polishing to do. Update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty arrived in a good state, but there's still some room for improvement, which is what patch 2.01 is focused on, squashing some bugs—including a particularly annoying one that's been around for years—and buffing the game's performance, particularly in Dogtown. 

Phantom Liberty and Update 2.0 might have made a lot of improvements to Cyberpunk 2077 but one new bug has introduced a haunted police car to Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077’s massive expansion, Phantom Liberty, has arrived, and fans are loving the chance to check out the coveted Dogtown, and play through their tense spy-thriller. There’s been a lot of praise thrown around as fans return to the game following its original launch in December 2020, and some fans have discovered that they can purchase the expansion but lock themselves out of it.

More Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes are on their way, developer CD Projekt Red announces. Following the arrival of the massive Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 patch overhauling many of the game’s systems, and the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC, Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.01 is set to rectify some of the more common and troublesome issues found in the update.

Cyberpunk 2077 may have just received Update 2.0 and its Phantom Liberty expansion but developer CD Projekt has promised Patch 2.01 is "coming soon" with performance improvements in Dogtown and a fix for corrupted save data on PlayStation 5.

Unfortunately, the sudden influx of both old and new players alike means that there are inevitable issues coming. CD Projekt Red has just made one of these apparent, sharing why autosaves aren’t syncing properly.

The campaign of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is an intense, high-octane spy thriller, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes until the end. If that sounds like a bit too much for you to handle, CD Projekt has also offered an easy way to say “no, thank you” and leave it, for good.

The content in the DLC for does not take place at the end of the game, but its unique spy story questline has a very definite ending, with several options that it can take based on the player's choices. Two of these options can lead to a new outcome for V at the conclusion of as well, although the other two will simply allow the game to pick up again, as originally told prior to the release of thecontent. This thriller story is full of backstabbing and espionage, with shaky alliances that can leave players not knowing who they can trust.
