Every New Peach Revealed In Princess Peach Showtime (So Far)

It’s been too long (almost 17 years!) since we last got a standalone game with the proud matriarch of the house of Toadstool in the lead role. That’s changing soon with Princess Peach: Showtime, a new platforming adventure to look forward to starring the hot pink heroine of the Super Mario Bros. franchise. It launches March 22, 2024, on Nintendo Switch.

Entering the new Dogtown district of 's DLC introduces V to a whole new cast of NPCs with complicated backstories that leave everyone unsure who can be trusted. The new spy-thriller narrative of the expansion is engrossing and the characters and missions that are crafted for it bring a mystery all their own with back-stabbing and espionage all around. Between the main missions for the campaign and the various side jobs that V can pick up around Dogtown, the DLC brings in a variety of personalities and backstories to explore.

October marks the start of the spooky season in, with major events and new critters to catch. Aside from attending a big Halloween party, players can also catch lots of new critters on land, in the water, and beneath the waves. With the seasons changing, October is a great month for critter collectors and social butterflies alike.

Princess Peach: Showtime is scheduled to release in late March 2024, marking the launch of the first game starring Princess Peach as the protagonist in almost 20 years, and there’s a lot to look forward to. Straying from the traditional location of the Mushroom Kingdom which we typically see in Mario games, this adventure with Princess Peach should be on your radar of upcoming Nintendo Switch games if it’s not already. 

There are several new and returning creatures in the DLC for , all of which increase the Pokédex’s numbers in the Generation 9 games. The new DLC is the first part of the larger expansion pack called The Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero. The second DLC for is called, though it does not yet have a release date. The Gen 9 games for Nintendo Switch increased the National Dex count to over 1,000 creatures, and the new DLC is continuing the expansion by bringing new Pokémon for Trainers to catch.

Wave 6 of 's Booster Course Pass is set to arrive this holiday season, and it brings a unique selection of characters from the universe to the table. As the final wave of the episodic DLC, this grand finale for the Booster Course Pass is likely the last chance for characters to appear in the game. This pressure makes it unlikely for every fan to be satisfied with the choices, but the characters include some highly-requested options, including a couple that complete the package of reuniting a prior game's iconic cast.
