Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.01 is scheduled to be released later today across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
CD Projekt Red's Global Community Director, Marcin Momot, said as much on Twitter some hours ago. According to Momot, today's arrival of the patch isn't 100% locked just yet, but it all goes as planned, it should be made available today across said platforms. "If all goes according to plan, patch 2.01 should arrive tomorrow on PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S", Momot wrote yesterday.
As covered last week, this new patch will include performance improvements (most notably in the Dogtown area) on PC and consoles as well as fixes for various annoying issues. As posted on CDPR's website last week, this new update will address the persisting distorted effect caused by selecting a specific dialogue option at the of the Automatic Love quest. In addition, the patch will fix an issue that causes controller button prompts to show when playing with the mouse and keyboard. Also, it will adjust the radio volume in vehicles and will address corrupted save issues on PlayStation 5.
We'll update you as soon as this new patch goes live. For now, stay tuned. CDPR released the free 2.0 update for the game last month, further enhancing the game's visuals and overhauling various gameplay mechanics as well as core game features, including Perk Trees and the police system. In addition, the update offered numerous fixes and improvements.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available worldwide now across PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Last week, the paid Phantin Liberty expansion was released for Cyberpunk 2077. Here's what we wrote about this excellent expansion.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content. The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing. If you've been holding out on Cyberpunk 2077 until now, you'll find a huge game with over 120 hours of quality content and an incredibly immersive game world to literally lose yourself in. On top of that, it's by far the most beautiful and technically advanced game available if you have the hardware for it (PC and RTX 40 GPU).

Update 2.0 is the final major content patch for CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077, but the developer continues working on smaller ones to fix various issues. Patch 2.02 is en route and though only highlights are available, it will provide fixes, like V no longer flatlining when entering the Delamain AV in Path of Glory.
Nightdive Studios launched its ground-up remake of the original System Shock for PC earlier this year, with console versions still in the works, though the developer also has a remaster of System Shock 2 in the works that it announced back in 2019. It has, of course, been a while since we last got an official update on it, though recently at the Indie Horror Showcase, Nightdive premiered a new trailer for System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition.
Nightdive Studios has released a new gameplay trailer for System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, its remastered version of the 1999 classic science-fiction horror action RPG, as well as confirmed it will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in addition to its previously announced PC version. A new patch is available for Cyberpunk 2077, which also features fixes for its expansion Phantom Liberty. For the latter, it fixes a progression blocker when choosing the Corpo Lifepath choice in speaking to Paco. Unfortunately, an exploit that allowed for farming Relic points while talking to Songbird for the first time is fixed.
