You've got more powerful skills to play with in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. These Relic abilities become available very early in the expansion, and you'll be able to select a few as you progress further. Our guide discusses just what you can expect when you choose these new quirks.
The Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Relic abilities are unlocked as a mechanic during the expansion's first quest: Dog Eat Dog. Once you start the expansion's campaign, you'll receive a call from a netrunner named Songbird. Go to the marked location, which is just across the gate that leads into Dogtown. As you make your way through the hidden path, Songbird will tweak your Relic, which unlocks a new skill tree.
Songbird also gives you three Relic points to allocate. Here's how they work:
Jailbreak — Allows you to perform a Leap Attack with the Mantis Blades; a kill also causes you to dismember your target, which charges your next Leap Attack. This unlocks the following minor abilities:
Emergency Cloaking — Using an Optical Ammo cyberware in combat also causes enemies to lose track of you, allowing you to escape. Also makes a minor ability available:
Vulnerability Analytics — Allows you to detect vulnerabilities in enemy armor and cyberware. Hitting these vulnerabilities grants +100% critical chance, +25% armor penetration, and weakspot damage bonuses; dealing more damage also causes an EMP blast. This also makes a minor ability available:
There are certainly a lot of viable options here among the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Relic abilities. We prefer Jailbreak since it adds new options in how we approached combat, and it's especially useful if you like to use the Mantis Blades or Gorilla Arms. Vulnerability Analytics is also great if you can hit vulnerabilities often.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty players really wish they could romance one character in particular.
's DLC is full of choices that V must make — and these decisions can ultimately affect which ending players get. In fact, some options can even lock players out of s true new ending, and one of these factors includes deciding to kill Solomon Reed or agreeing to his deal. This occurs extremely late in the game, but it will have a major impact on the ending, so knowing which choice is correct is important.
Early in the DLC's main story for, V is faced with a difficult choice without a lot of time to make a well-thought-out decision. As is often the case with much of the game, there are many decisions that have to be handled which can affect other things down the line, and particularly when trying to roleplay it can be hard to know what the right choice is. Dogtown residents Jacob and Taylor may talk tough, but whether they deserve the maximum punishment for their actions is ultimately up to the player to decide.
There’s one incredibly powerful Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty gun you need to snag, and it’s actually really easy to get. With so many extra weapons to choose from in the new Cyberpunk DLC from CD Projekt Red, we’ve discovered one that you can get with basically no effort that offers up not just a solid gun but allows for a fair bit of customization too.
When it comes to cyberpunk, I'm a simpleton: I'm always chasing the initial radioactive wave of cool that emanated from the pages of William Gibson's Neuromancer and its prequel short story Johnny Mnemonic. When I saw the monowire cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077, I knew it was the weapon for me, and I was even more excited when Cyberpunk director Gabe Amatangelo recommended a particular monowire build to me, capitalizing on all the changes to Cyberpunk's skill system in 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, in an interview this week.
Here's how to get the Errata Thermal Katana whether you own Phantom Liberty or not.

Cyberpunk 2077's first (and last) expansion is out now on PS5. Phantom Liberty adds a whole new storyline and district to CD Projekt Red's open world RPG, and the initial reception has been incredibly positive. Of course, it helps that the base game has been significantly improved with Update 2.0 — which dropped just five days ago at the time of writing.
Cyberpunk 2077 is, finally, having its big launch moment. On Tuesday, buoyed by the 2.0 patch and expansion Phantom Liberty, the game hit its highest peak playercount since 2020. We loved Phantom Liberty, saying in our review that it's "CD Projekt firing on all cylinders to tell a great RPG story." It's been a long but impressive comeback for Cyberpunk, and the fact that the game is finally getting universal praise made me wonder if CD Projekt was reconsidering its plan to move on to a new game. After all, The Witcher 3's Hearts of Stone was good, but Blood & Wine was even better…
With the free 2.0 update and the Phantom Liberty expansion including Path Tracing, Cyberpunk 2077 has again set a new benchmark for PC gaming. This new Cyberpunk 2077 Path Tracing mod makes the game even more demanding.
