Extremely silly glitches are a dime a dozen in open-world RPGs, but this one from Starfield might just take the, uh… cake.

When it comes to cyberpunk, I'm a simpleton: I'm always chasing the initial radioactive wave of cool that emanated from the pages of William Gibson's Neuromancer and its prequel short story Johnny Mnemonic. When I saw the monowire cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077, I knew it was the weapon for me, and I was even more excited when Cyberpunk director Gabe Amatangelo recommended a particular monowire build to me, capitalizing on all the changes to Cyberpunk's skill system in 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, in an interview this week.
Cyberpunk's monowire is one of three main cyberware augments, the other two being the hard-hitting gorilla arms and the stabby mantis blades. The monowire is less of a pure melee weapon, though it can still be used in a flurry of strikes to flay enemies—its big strength is how it ties into Cyberpunk 2077's hacking system. More importantly for me, though, it calls back to the villain of Johnny Mnemonic: a Yakuza assassin who wields a «monomolecular filament» embedded in a hidden socket in his thumb.
Forgive this tangent from Cyberpunk 2077 for just a moment, but if you've never read Johnny Mnemonic, its climactic action scene is the kind of evocative moment whole writing and design careers are spent trying to capture. In it, «razorgirl» merc Molly Millions, who has blades beneath her fingers, faces off against the assassin on a floor of interlaced steel cables in Lo Tek turf, suspended high above the lower strata of the city. When Molly and the assassin dance across the floor, every vibration is fed through an amplifier and turned into battle music: «The sound it made was like a world ending, like the wires that hold heaven snapping and coiling across the sky.»
Okay, one more bit from the fight before I get on with it: «He pulled the tip from his thumb with the grace of a man at ease with social gesture and flung it at her. Under the floods, the filament was a refracting thread of rainbow. She threw herself flat and rolled, jackknifing up as the molecule whipped past, steel claws snapping into the light in what must have been an automatic rictus of defense… He retracted the filament to a whirling meter-wide circle of ghostly polychrome and spun it in front of him, thumbless hand held level with his sternum. A shield.»
It's a quick fight—just five paragraphs from beginning to end—but my god, does it slap.

The creepy home invasion horror movie The Strangers has become a bit of a cult classic since its release in 2008. While the series did garner a 2018 sequel, The Strangers: Prey By Night, it never quite spawned the franchise you might expect from a hit horror movie. But director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Exorcist: The Beginning) and Lionsgate are here to fix that with a trilogy of new Strangers movies inspired by the originals.
It took some time, but CD Projekt Red's troubled RPG finally has as much substance as it has style, in no small thanks to the recent Phantom Liberty DLC and patch 2.0.
Over three years since launch, we finally have the Phantom Liberty DLC, and a whole host of improvements made to the title, in one of the biggest redemption arcs in gaming since No Man's Sky.

Today I learned that the universe of Cyberpunk 2077 has something called ‘Exotics’ in it. Basically, rich people sculpt furred skins, animal-like faces, ears, and other features onto themselves as a hobby out of pure boredom. This wasn’t in CD Projekt Red’s virtual version of the tabletop sci-fi RPG, but now it is. Thanks to the incredible work of one modder you can now be a furry in Night City, and no I’m not joking.
Using ’s best Physical skill builds can be an easy way of powering through opponents and getting through the game without major inconveniences – all while not excluding the challenge factor that outer space involves. Such builds are centered on grounded exploration and combat rather than using your spaceship and usually focus on survivability, combat power, and even stealth prowess. As is quite an open-ended RPG when it comes to skill trees, you can mix and match abilities to round out the perfect build. In fact, you are incentivized to do so, as most of the best Physical builds in the game stem from such combinations.
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a live-action adaptation, developer CD Projekt Red has announced. The project is being developed in collaboration with Anonymous Content, the independent media company best known for producing Emmy-winning shows like True Detective and Mr. Robot. It's unclear if this take will be a feature-length film or a TV series, but the hunt for a screenwriter has commenced, with plans to tell a brand-new story set in the futuristic neon-lit world, where sex, body modifications, and political chatter are commonplace. The developer also stressed that the adaptation is at an ‘early developmental stage,' so it'll be a while before we receive any further updates.
And the main game has climbed to 25 million copies sold.
's DLC is full of choices that V must make — and these decisions can ultimately affect which ending players get. In fact, some options can even lock players out of s true new ending, and one of these factors includes deciding to kill Solomon Reed or agreeing to his deal. This occurs extremely late in the game, but it will have a major impact on the ending, so knowing which choice is correct is important.
Early in the DLC's main story for, V is faced with a difficult choice without a lot of time to make a well-thought-out decision. As is often the case with much of the game, there are many decisions that have to be handled which can affect other things down the line, and particularly when trying to roleplay it can be hard to know what the right choice is. Dogtown residents Jacob and Taylor may talk tough, but whether they deserve the maximum punishment for their actions is ultimately up to the player to decide.
There’s one incredibly powerful Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty gun you need to snag, and it’s actually really easy to get. With so many extra weapons to choose from in the new Cyberpunk DLC from CD Projekt Red, we’ve discovered one that you can get with basically no effort that offers up not just a solid gun but allows for a fair bit of customization too.
