Sheldon Menery, the creator of Commander, Magic: The Gathering’s most popular style of play, has died following a seven-year battle with cancer. The announcement was made Friday morning on Facebook where his wife, Gretchyn Melde, said that he passed away peacefully. The sad news been followed by kind words and condolences from across the tabletop industry.

Starfield might have hit early access last week, and will be getting its full launch just a couple of days from now, but the Baldur's Gate 3 hype still refuses to die down. Partly because it will be getting its full PS5 release on Wednesday, but also because it's a very popular game with a tonne of stuff to do. A lot of that stuff revolves around romancing other characters, and if the limitation of only being able to romance one character at a time without running the risk of upsetting them has been bothering you, I've got some good news.

Even though you’ve finally settled on your race and appearance in Baldur’s Gate 3, giving your half-orc beefcake just the right amount of facepaint, you’ve still got to pick your class and eventually your subclass… and there are so many options!

Baldur's Gate 3 is an outrageously horny game, perhaps more so than any other RPG before it. Building off romance systems in other games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect, sex isn't just an end-game treat in Baldur's Gate. No, it can be anything from a hobby to a sign of commitment. Or both. Baldur’s Gate 3 is not only my favorite RPG game of all time, but it’s hands-down the greatest gameplay experience that I’ve ever had. Larian Studios recently released the Dungeons & Dragons-inspired game out of early access, and it has since been flying through every chart imaginable. Among the vast variety of features found in Baldur’s Gate 3, character appearance changes are nowhere to be found. Larian Studios has just confirmed that they are indeed working on implementing such a system, though.

Dungeons & Dragons parties can be of any size. There's no real limit unless the DM is uncomfortable with eight people wailing on two little goblins. Baldur's Gate 3 is different. You can only have four people in a group, so you have to pick and choose who to bring with you on your adventure. But modders aren't having any of that, as SildurFX has already removed the limit for the full-release version of the game.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is not your typical run-of-the-mill RPG. Whilst not the first game to use pen-and-paper roleplaying as its base, it is certainly one of the few modern games to be made in that style. This gives the game an extra layer of depth and mechanical intrigue, which in turn, makes it a tangibly rich experience.
